Ah man, from what I remember the pain or swelling from the procedure started to hit me a few minutes later after I had woken up. By the time I got home you sort of get used it, but the pain still lingers. I think I ate mostly cold food to also numb the pain and tried convincing myself to mentally sleep with my head facing up to not aggravate the pain more so. And I think I also had to sip and swirl some water with salt to help the gums too.

I've not really liked her... but f'! That's way f' up. Well, I gonna be hanging w him trying to keep him from killing himself. I told him to go counseling tomorrow pronto! But anything else I can do or say?

Edit: Currently, we're watching some comedy anime to keep his thought out of this shitty situation...
I'll tell you this. Some guys/gals can handle this situation on their own and some can't. In this case you make it sound like your friend can't. So going to a psychiatrist would be a prime suggestion.

If I'm in you're situation though. I'd make sure he stays away from his home for at least 24 hours. I'd talk to him man to man to see what he's thinking, how he feels, and what does he plan on doing. Let him get all his thoughts and anger or frustration out. Once you feel he is calm enough, take him somewhere you know that will most likely cheer him up or to keep his mind off from the whole situation (I know its not as easy being said than done). Or you can just leave it to the professionals if you're uncomfortable to do so. The best thing you could do is to be there for him. You don't have to say all the right things or give some insightful life changing wisdom. But from what it sounds like so far you're doing a good job cause all he needs is a true friend to support him.

Man that is some tough stuff to hear man. I hope your boy is gonna be all right cause I read & hear stories like that all the time and have a few friends who had cheating SOs. If marriage counseling doesn't seem to work, I suggest to your friend that he turn to the "MANOSPHERE" (ie. Athol Kay, Rollo, Roissy ) and start reading. Here are a few articles on why women would cheat on their husbands:

Because they're plenty of men who were in situations like that and broke it down to understand why their significant other would do such a thing. And there was a common theme that seem to resonate with most men's experiences. Take it with a grain of salt, though because it'll be a hard pill to swallow but it makes logical sense when you take off your disney-esque glasses and look at it at an analytical level.

IMHO, unless your friend and his cheating ass wife has kids I'd suggest filing for divorce because once a girl cheats on you that means she has no genuine desire for you and doesn't respect you; as a result, she'll find a way to get out of the relationship or do things like this behind your back. Good luck to your friend.
I don't believe every person is capable or should know the truth. I think that could actually hinder some people's psyche. Sure you can say the truth can help troubled people overcome their problems and move on forward in their lives, but not many do so or for some it may change their whole outlook on life and their personality.

I do agree with you that a divorce should probably be the next step, but sometimes these things have a weird way working itself out in then end. It's rare now a days that a married couple fix their problems and stay together for the kids, which is pretty sad.

I don't know about the rest of you but the presidential election year is an exciting time for my family. More so than the bi-annual elections. We get a little bit excited about politics
The mediator was kind of rude but its nothing to get all worked up over. And I watched it with surround sound while playing Madden so I wouldn't dose off.

Girls make no sense.

I was downtown with friends last weekend. One girl had some friends with her and she thought I was cute, and I thought she was too. We chatted it up and I got her number. We texted for a few days after and then she stopped responding and won't text back.

Talking to her friend, she's been interested in some guy that left the area 2 or 3 months ago and now lives very far away. My friend was saying it as if she felt like she had some obligation to him... even though they may never see each other again.

Why must you trick me!? lol. Not the first time a situation just like this has happened. Lol. Oh well...

Yeah, I listened again and it sounded like a typical debate, both were bickering with the moderator. I was playing Counterstrike GO so I got most of it. A wee bit difficult to hear over gunfire tho.

spent nearly 2 hours washing my car yesterday only to have some birds use it for target practice today. park in the same spot all the time, car had been dirty for almost a month, nothing no poop whatsoever.

but it doesn't end there, one of the little presents left on my hood managed to eat away at the paint an leave a permanent mark. it was only there a few hours! and in the shade! what the heck do these birds eat? hydrochloric acid?! I hope some cat avenges my car.

So after driving around the NYC area today, I don't know how people do it, especially in manual cars. I live roughly an hour and a half north of the city, but I had some business to do today just west of the city across the river, and man, I don't ever want to drive down there again. It's a mad house and I was panicking that someone/something was going to hit my car while I was down there. The stop and go was frustrating and I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Again, I don't know how people live in the city. *Being usual "Upstate" person*

To quote a friend on mine, NYC embodies everything I hate about society.

Take lots of pics, please. I wish I could go.

We took the boys to the library tonight. Wow they do a great job of making it kid/family friendly. My hats off to them for running a great program.

I'm not 100%... yet. I all work stuff work out, I "should" be able too... but who knows.

Yes, library has lots of kids/family friendly event. We usually have every week! As part of library staff, your local library sounds like doing great job and it makes me happy too!

argh, so pissed, can't do this winternship because it cuts 4 days into the start of next semester, and in the process of talking to the HR person I said the exact date classes started, so now they can't let me interview even though I'm okay with missing a few days of class since they can't be condoning skipping school...

>_<
There's always summer, and I hope I pass the interviews for that but winter internships are pretty rare so this really sucks.
How else to make a crapload of money over winter break to help pay for this money sucking car...

A buddy delivers pizzas and puts an extra ~1200 a month in his pocket. It's not much, but it sure helps.
