I could see an Australian company dreaming up a price like that but coming from a USA company - goodnight boys, its all over for your product. That is simply outrageous pricing. Can decently a turbo an LS6 V8 chev for less than that kind of money and you get 2 turbos!

"Thank you for your interest in our turbo system for the Scion FR-S/ Subaru BRZ. The attached PDF has all of the details including turn key price. As far as further dyno testing, we will have it on a dyno jet in the near future to confirm max hp at our current 16psi level, but have done all of the tuning on our in house dyno dynamics and are comfortable putting out cars at this 409whp power level. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. We are currently backed up about a month on work load but give me a phone call if you are interested in moving forward.

Thanks!

The car is still together and a joy to drive. We received a lot of great feedback when everyone had the chance to check it out at Scion Exposed a few weeks ago.

Regarding the price, the 15k figure being thrown around is not for the turbo kit - that is a complete turn-key forced induction build package. The package includes many items beyond a turbo kit, such as the installation of an upgraded clutch and flywheel, performance header, injectors, standalone and more. Installation of the turbo kit and dyno tuning is included. Basically, you drop the car off with us and the result is a FR-S/BRZ built right and ready to go.

Please see our package details by clicking on the image below. For more information or custom quotes please contact us at 502-384-8882 or via email.

For those asking about engine management...
Due to the newness and complexity of the electronics in the FR-S/BRZ with regards to CAN bus communication and direct port fuel injection, there is no plug&play ECU that removes the stock computer while retaining all factory functions at this time. We are an authorized EcuTek tuner, and while it is possible to use it exclusively, we chose to run a Haltech ecu in parallel with the stock computer for the following reasons.

With both Haltech and EcuTek on board, we are able to achieve the best possible tune to maximze power and reliability. The Haltech provides rock solid port fuel and ignition timing control, while EcuTek controls Direct Injection. There are countless other benefits such as:
VE based live tuning
On-board datalogging, viewable by the end-user
Protection safeguards such as Overboost
Advanced Boost Control, with features like boost by gear
Antilag Launch Control
End-user Connectivity and tuneability if required at no additional cost

Are motor mounts expected to last with this kind of power? (Asking based on your experience testing the car).

Yea....no one else is running dual managements. And with that price tag, people are not going to deem it necessary to when all they want is 3-400whp for the masses and it's getting done on just an ECUTek alone.

at this post. I actually typed a long post with questions for you and "the people" but I'll just leave my most important question below.

So you and (the people) want to more than double the stock whp for I'm guessing less than 5K and have it make power, be consistent, reliable and include all those parts (not even to mention labor costs on installation and tuning)? Let me know how that works out for you all.
