Thats crazy mine was $600 from GReddy and has better numbers and is lighter. I don't think $1059 is worth it unless you are really worried about the warranty. Thanks for the info I was wondering home much it was going to be because all my friends have been waiting for it because of warranty issues.

My understanding is that a cat back does nothing to warranty, axle back is diff story. If anyone knows anything else I would like to know. I'm like you and is for sure looking at in the future going aftermarket quality is there and always cheaper than TRD

If we get a big enough group to go 'crash' the gencoupe meet on the 20th, I'll drag my sorry ass up from tucson. Looks like some of their peeps will be driving up from tucson as well.

So I took my FR-S up to Big Two on Monday for a couple of reasons, first was that after getting my oil changed my car started leaking oil from the drain plug...Big Two replaced the crush washer and topped her off without a hitch. Second was to get my car checked to see if the TSB affected me. Well that was an interesting adventure.

First mistake I made was not talking to Billy first, I didn't think about it when i showed up because my primary reason for going was to fix the oil leak. I asked them to check the car and see if i qualified for the TSB. Needless to say they did the work on the oil leak, and then fired up the car and didn't hear the crickets. They told me that everything sounds fine and that the TSB didn't affect my car because all they could hear was the ticking of the HP injectors...

So after getting the run around I found Billy talked with him and actually pulled up a clip of what the sound of crickets sounded like. I then told him that you need to run the car, as in drive the car for about 10 minutes (it actually says this in the TSB) and then check. Well after the tech drove it and brought it back the crickets were singing full blast. Needless to say they ordered the parts for me and now I am waiting on the call.

Great bunch of guys working the maintenance side, but I'm guessing my car is the first they had to run to get the crickets.

No good news on TRD exhaust. It retails for $1058. My employee price for just me personally is $975. Can't give discount to anyone just cause there is no markup in it to begin with.
