That was probably mine. I changed my order in May, and I was set to drive that out on arrival.

Yeah. Just called Toyota to make sure it was still on track. It got built yesterday. Arrival to the dealer on the 31st of October.

Toyota help line today said my White GTS manual 5832XXX, June 15th order, is unlikely to make December production.

I spoke with Toyota in Sydney last week about the additional allocations, got a phone call back this morning [as promised] and the answer was 'Currently negotiating with the Parent Company in Japan for additional allocations but NOTHING forthcoming as yet - so she gave the same answer as my Dealer gave me earlier this week - 'haven't heard anything about that'

I guess October to November to December will now become January to February and maybe March!!

I know think of the scenario had I ordered where I test drove first off, that Dealership I would have been 90+ in the queue! Hell, I wouldn't get it until 2017 at the current build rate!

The best comes to those who wait!!

Just got a call from my dealer today, he gave me the best news after i thought i was missing out with all the june guys' status' changing to nov build. he told me that i got one of the extra 740 vehicles and it matches my build description and will be allocated to me. WOOHOO. nov build/dec delivery. ordered june 23rd. white manual GTS

Great! But I have no idea where he got the info about the 'extra 740', Toyota Australia knows nothing about it and I spoke with my Dealer on Saturday and they have no notification either of any additonal allocations

Be nice to see something in writing!

My Dealer is getting 'ordered stock' thru now for orders placed in May

Good on you. Certainly it is very good news for a change. Does your web tracking reflect what the dealer told you?

Didn't some guy say there was a bulletin from higher up saying 740 this quarter and another 700 extra in first quarter of 2013? im basing my info off that. he said it a few pages before this one.

yeah would be good to see something in writing but my dealer is saying that im getting one of the extra vehicles that is allocated to australia and its not a cancelled order.

Thanks! very good news this morning. brought the biggest smile on my face. my web tracking hasn't updated. my dealer said the stock controller is going to get the details and give me a new batch and order number apparantly so we'll wait and see.

edit: i just tried logging in with my initial batch and order number but i can't login. looks like i'll be issued a new batch and order number soon.

Thanks! very good news this morning. brought the biggest smile on my face. my web tracking hasn't updated. my dealer said the stock controller is going to get the details and give me a new batch and order number apparantly so we'll wait and see.

If you are getting a new batch/order number then it must be either a cancellation or an 'unallocated vehicle' they ordered previously, no other explanation - anyway congratulations on getting somewhere!! Mine has been pushed back October ---> November ---> December and I am assuming it will then go into 2013 at least, so much for Toyota saying 10 July 'delvery 2/3 months for a GT'!!

well my dealer said its definately not a cancelled order. he said its an extra vehicle. but yeah im just happy its going to be built in nov. for those you still havn't got any updates hang in there guys!!!!


EDIT: i just logged in with the new batch and order number and the planned production month is November 2012. the order sheet supplied by the dealer/stock controller shows status of A10 - order transmitted. does that mean its not 100% and does anyone know howlong it takes to update to A20?
