Love the idea. I must agree with those saying it should be a separate car though. Lighten up the current Z a bit but keep it 6cyl, then bring back the Silvia. And as a Silvia, please no more 240sx stuff lol. Nissan...DO IT!

LOL I can't believe I am seeing this just minutes after saying this would never happen in the datsun thread. still, they haven't really given any details, so who knows how much of the original 240 will actually carry over (price range, size, weight, market).

Wow if that's true, great! As long as they keep on building cars that are meant to be "performance" oriented from the start, there is hope, doesn't matter what it is.

Very interesting. Hope all manufacturer will jump on to this bandwagon. More affordable light weight RWD vehicles!

From the poster in the video, showing all the Z models. Is this implying a new 240 will take place of the 370?

I will go on record that, depending on price and spec, I will trade my 86 for a 2014 240z in a heartbeat! I have a 300zx at the moment that I love and adore so am a little bias

i always liked the z line my grandma had a 280 z and i used to sit in the hatchback area when we were real young lol. but if they can at least come real close to the balance of the 86 and give it more power id say my decision would be real tuff, betweeen the pure balance of the 86 and less balance but more power of the z. both still light wieght both still affordable, geez heaven?
