Finally registered: BRZ in Tampa

Figured I'd post up in here for shits n gigs. Bought my BRZ on September 13th. Had it out at Sebring on the 15th. I'm in sales at Mastro Subaru in Tampa so if anyone is looking for updates on vehicle availability, just shoot me a PM.

Satin White Pearl 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited

Here is some video from Sebring. Stuck a GoPro in it, never really checked the placement of the camera until after I got back home. lol. Bone stock, running with Porsche Club's instructor group

First video:

Second video:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enqpTc8otiE&feature=relmfu"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enqpTc8otiE&feature=relmfu[/ame]

Just bought some 4 piston JDM brakes today as the car's brakes are already toast. Camber bolts and an alignment are next. Could use some tires as well, but I'm trying to wait on that expense.

Chin Motorsports, NASA, PCA, PBOC, etc.... check out their schedules. I usually recommend Chin first: www.chinmotorsports.com

LD: Nice work. Pads and good fluid are plenty for track use, you should have told me I would have thrown some pads over for you to use at least

Now we need to get Will to track his.

November Chin or PCA? Trying to go to one, need to get Nate (he was going to buy a WRB Limited but canceled for a Boss 302 LS with a bunch of 302R/302S parts instead...) to go out with us as well.

Chin, first week of november has (well had last I looked) some Novice spots left I think. If not December does. I can't make the december date due to a race but should hopefully make the Chin November event, or worst case the PCA November event.

OK Looks like Chin in November is out for me. I'm checking to see if PCA will let me run (not a PCA member but I know that hasn't been enforced all that strongly in the past). Likely going to run Chin Oct 14th @ Sebring.

I did Sebring a month ago in mine and I had a BLAST

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxDD4JhU7PM"]2013 Subaru BRZ on Sebring Full Course at SCCA PDX - YouTube[/ame]

I had a better session but my GoPro died.

Pad+Fluid upgrade (Carbotech Ax6), Bolts+alignment, light 17x7s and 215 RS3s. I didn't overheat the brakes nor did I feel the need to upgrade the actual brakes

I saw you would hit 5th going into 7. Did you short shift? I would get a good run out of 6 and just BARELY tap the limiter (107mph) going into that braking zone

LD is fast. I'm not saying he wasn't short shifting (haven't done Sebring in the BRZ yet to know) but he's probably just faster than you.. and me.

lol idk about that, but yeah I was grabbing my 7200rpm shift light when I shifted before the bridge. I probably didn't need the brake upgrade but we will see what happens. I just hope they bolt right up. I didn't even think about how the bracket would mount to be completely honest. lol.

I signed up for Sunday-only with PCA. I may be able to get Saturday off. If I do, I'll just email Rick and change my registration.

I think I timed a few laps at 2:47s on the car. Not bad bone stock with the brakes on fire as far as I'm concerned. The car is eassssssily low 40s with pads and tires. tweaking the alignment and a full exhaust (including headers) I wouldn't be surprised to see high 30s.

Hahaha I need more driver mod. Tires and pads only put me at 2:46 but it was my first time on full track Sebring.

Limited experience. One day each at Gainesville, Daytona School, Sebring Club, Sebring Full. And Ive never had instruction on Sebring Full so I was forced to learn the lines completely on my own, interesting process to say the least.

I'll be there for the 11th (sunday) as well. Since I've never run with PCA they are putting an instructor in the car.. holy hell it's been a LONG ass time since I've had an instructor with me. Should be interesting

Hopefully will do the 14th this month with Chin as well, Solo there at least

I didn't watch much of your video, but I'm sure LD and myself could point out a few things.

First thing I noticed was how far away from the wall in Turn 1 you were, but I didn't check later in the session to see if that was common. Maybe today I'll watch it if I have enough time at work
