Thats what im scared of..i think ppl say it can resemble a ferrari or maserati but i dont want ppl think im trying to rice it out to look like a ferrari..I think red and yellow look good together on a car and i was thinking of painting my calipers yellow with either scion, FR-S, or 86 logo on the brakes. Getting fog lights and tint them yellow and do the yellow on the fender logos and rebadging the car with yellow and black toyota emblems

Looks good, in all iterations (though I may do the model paint for my FR-S)

The "ghetto" sharpie work looks good...but that's going to fade in the next few weeks. Normal Sharpie ink does not hold up well against the Sun & elements (in my job I have personal experience of this). Paint is the correct way to do this.

It is definitely a nice contrast if done right. Just be careful of overdoing it. Not every car can pull off that colour scheme. The sticker on the calipers is a good idea. I did that on my MR-S, and it looks quite nice without looking too ricey. If you do decide to do this, do it properly; I suggest you coat over the caliper/sticker with a layer or two of brake caliper clear-coat to keep it stuck on brake caliper paint... Plus it makes cleaning the caliper that much easier. Good luck!

Thanx man. I tried photoshoping and i can see what you mean when u say overdoing it. I think the yellow calipers and fender logo looks good..i started painting the toyota emblem in the middle of the wheel yellow and the toyota emblem on the car yellow and it made me cringe lol. For now yellow calipers with logo, fender emblem with yellow inserts, and when i do get fogs ill tint thing yellow. The rims have to go for sure tho if i do this scheme..maybe hyper silver, gunmetalish ,or all black with look good

Nice job with the Model paint. I was considering using my One-Shot striping paint with a #0000 brush I use for other detail/touchups. Def gonna color it, even with a Hot Lava contrast.

Guys, I went to take a close up and I have to add another coat. I missed some spots and need a little finishing.

It's like a chick that's good from far and when you get close she's far from good! Hahaha

I will post the finished emblems when I find my model paint and brush. My wife put that stuff away and I have no clue where it is!

It doesn't make sense to do it in red, unless your car is red (regardless of how it's done in JDM land). It makes sense to paint that part of the badge the same color as your car. To me, at least.

the only thing I can think is trying to bring the interior accents throughout the whole car, in and out. Maybe this, tint the tails and red lugs? the other thing I keep wanting to do is make the S in FRS red. It is burned into my head from scion adds I guess. Haha
