How long did they tell you? They told me orders are backing up. So 2 months. At first it was one month. Don't forget to tell them not to put the front license plate on the car when it comes in! Hehe.
I ordered from north park and it's at msrp, the one that was over msrp at $29950 was at scion of boerne. I have no eta from NP at this time :-/ but since I'm waiting for an automatic it's going to be a while.

Definitely headed in that direction - prolly next Spring after engine gets some more miles on it. Just started following the Visconti Tuning thread with great interest! I think an engine tune would be the icing on the cake!

Looks like @fluffy-reindeer-slayer may be getting fixed up by Dynotronics in New Braunfels. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=484

Cool bro. They (red mccombs scion) told me 2 months. They say orders are backing up...but I think yours will come before thanksgiving. I think automatics are easier to get.

The scion of Boerne is on crack, just like Alamo Toyota!

John Visconti is like the coolest tuner! But that local shop in New Braunfels might have some benefits.....They need adding cool stuff to the Ecotek race rom...its like never ending coolness....

Launch Control
Fuel\Air Ratio mixture showing up in the guages
Flat foot shifting
Rev matching when down shifting (autoblip) on the 6 speed manual
8k rpm rev limit
E85 tune
Map switching

I was told that if the dealer installs the leather kit as an option it's $1,400..! Just glad that wasn't an option I paid for! Really love the kit though its a katzkin kit covering both the front and back seats!

Nice seats! Looks like they were done from the factory. What! You got those at no charge? Sweet.

Looks like rain all went to the East this morning so am going to venture out to Coffee and Rides!

Yeah my buddy up there is a salesman and the frs is the fourth car my family has purchased through the dealership so they gave us a great deal and threw the leather in! I know most of the people up there on a first name basis! Oh and the bespoke is neat nothing I'd be crazy about but none the less real simple interface to use!

Man, you're gonna have to introduce your friend to some of the other interested buyers on here! What we really need is someone who knows the dude that off loads the transport ships and sends cars to San Antonio!!!!

S.A. Coffee & Rides 9/29/12

Met up with @Ricepuddin @ Coffee & Rides this morning. Just a group of Nissan Z cars and Cadillacs when I got there a little after 8AM. First stop was Panera's for sustenance and java. Unattended BRZ was already attracting attention while inside. Ken Batchelor brought a new ATS and CTS to look at. More ppl showed up as morning progressed. Lots of interest in our cars! Morning went by pretty fast talking to folks. I forgot my camera so Ricepuddin posted only pics above. He & I discussed maybe organizing a group drive sometime this Fall and a group meet and greet/photo shoot next month if there is enough interest to do so. Anybody with suggestions for a location is welcome to throw them out there for consideration. Overall, even though there was a small turnout, saw some interesting cars and enjoyed the conversations with owners. Best part was watching all the attention our Toyobarus were drawing!!! I was nice and let a couple of ppl sit in the BRZ and took one fellow for a short cruise to the empty end of the parking lot. Did a few quick hard corner turns and a brief straightaway acceleration run with trac off…nothing too radical...however, it was enough to WOW him to consider trading in his new Camaro! Sure wish more of you Official San Antonio, TX Thread!! guys showed up today but, considering the weather we had last night...it's certainly understandable to stay home & sleep in late this morning. Ricepuddin and I successfully held down the Fort for this month's SA C&R meet!

You got the leather seats for free? How did you scope that?
