). the point i was trying to make is that, whether we like it or not, the levin/sprinter trueno name is only known by enthusiasts like us, and not the general populace. so don't be so offended! also, regardless of what you think, i have been reading all the posts. and the posts on your guys' argument have gone something like: "the celica doesn't have much racing heritage" to after matador's post "the celica has a lot of racing heritage and i respect the older models, but the newer ones gave the name too much of a negative image." what you've gotta understand, for older guys like zigzagz, matador, and me(i'm honestly not THAT much older than you lol) the racing heritage and history of the older models is MORE than enough to make up for the negative image of the newer models. it simply doesn't seem like that long ago to us. that's why when you guys say something like "i respect the old celicas but the new ones ruined the name" it still seems to us like you're not giving the celica name it's due respect. i mean, look at the newer model levin/truenos. the ae92, ae101 and ae111 were all FF but that didn't seem to ruin the levin/trueno name? |

Oh God!!! It would be so funny if this car is actually branded as a Scion. It could be Toyota, Scion or Lexus, it all depends on what Toyota thinks it would best for them in America, and right now in the States it actually would probably make more sense to be branded as a cion, either way I really don't care, the car would still be awesome

And if you're worried about some punk poser Scion boy buying the car and doing his thing to the car and it bothers you so much, invite him out to a SCCA meet or drift meet or track day, or whatever you have around you, and then whomp his ass while he's there. ![]() Unless you can't actually drive the car... |
