Once you put on real summer tires it'll be like sending your puppy to obedience training. No more unnecessary sliding around as you'll actually be putting the power to the ground during a turn.

i'm picking mine up with the "turanzas",and i'm happy because i "wanted" all seasons on it,because i don't have to shell out for dedicated snows. the all seasons will get me through, and they can stay on the car until they wear out!
nice! the primacys are a great ''summer" tire, but i would rather put the $1000 for the snows i would have had to purchase in MY pocket! thanks scion! they are! they are a "summer" only tire, and force you to change 'em out if ya live in a ''snow" belt state! |

Just got mine today. When I requested the raven FR-S be brought in I was told the one they found came with " the optional all terrain tires"- they are Bridgestone. I live in WV, but the car was brought here from SC.

the turanzas" are NOT optional here!.i think they are trying
to f**k you if they make you pay for them! for one thing, they cost less than the michilins they replaced, and 2nd ,they are listed as n/c on the sticker! i would check into this! |

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=154 I dunno, I just kind of liked the idea of trying out the car the way it was originally designed/tested with the Michelin tires. I'm sure the OEM Michelins slide more progressively and feel more responsive than those Bridgestones. But if I can only get the car with the Bridgestones, I'll probably just take them off immediately and go buy a nicer set of summer tires. Kind of a waste but maybe I can sell them. I'm just too anal about tires. Plus, I'm kind of a Michelin fan boy.

this is true! definitely will NOT replace a good set of snows,
however i don't have to be out in storms anyway, and the (as) will be adequate for my needs! i am retired and don't have to commute ,or be on the road when heavy snow arrives.the way this car handles,i think the "turanzas" will be fine! |

I don't get you guys thinking the Bridgestones are any good. They are stock civic (and other eco cars) tires and they are universally garbage.

I'm in Australia and I have shitty yokahama Prius tyres
They are great to get used to the limits of the tyres and chassis before and great speed is developed I done a khanacross yesterday and the only thing letting me down was tyres and having 0 camber on the front |

Bingo. I have no problem just driving another car when it snows but when it comes down to it, the Michelin primacy HP's will have you going pretty easy on your car on dry Tarmac below 45F

and provide enough grip to work in light snow conditions, whereas the primacys are strictly a "summer" tire, and could prove dangerous below a certain temperature, and not provide any grip. |
