Will certainly let you guys know what the shipping comes to on the Lachute.

First quote they could get me was very expensive, close to $1000, but was also on a 5-7 day turnaround which is perhaps a little excessive. Pursuing slower options at the moment.

If a bunch of people are interested I'm wondering whether it might be a group buy candidate.

Trim bumper, fit garnishes, fit exahust, done.
he TRD skirt attaches to the stock rear bar AFAIK
I will likely, next year, get the TRD and garnishes and keep stock bodykit..

I love the sound of the HKS Legamax Premium, after my first service I'll be ordering one for sure.

Just got back an email from Nameless. Cost is too prohibitive to send to Perth, WA so scratch that idea. Probably the same shipping expense if dealing with SRT too.
Perrin one seems good, but it actually slightly heavier than the stock exhaust.

Been doing further research and finally decided on the HKS Spec-L
Weights ~10kgs

and apparently a 12 *rwkW* gain

Around $1719(inc) *got the figure off another forum)

Sounds really good too!

That Lachute sounds just about right - like mechanical music! I only wonder what it's like @ 100kmh, I do a fair bit of fwy driving in my day, wouldn't want it to be too loud & droning, but I'm sold on it so far.

The HKS might be good, but they look horrible imo !

I wonder how I'd tig the plates on that support the diffuser... Also I must see if I can get the JDM underbody panels.

I agree, i love everything about the HKS system except those horrible cannon tips with carbon trim .

Think it's going to have to be TRD quad tips

Castle Hill got 6rwkw gain by changing exhaust on the boosted 86 they had.

I expect you will gain bugger all in NA form other then maybe moving the powerband slightly.

Im calling bs on 12rwkw.

As mentioned maybe 2-4rwkw at best.

personally not worth the bang for buck other then weight saving or looks.

I'm watching the Invidia N1 catback closely now. Looks/sounds pretty good, and its only a fraction of the cost of some of the others...

Quoted for ~$900 shipped here. tempted to pull the trigger...

I have yet to see anyone get decent gain yet, 5 - 10hp. which is not a lot.
some seem to have smoothed out the torque pit.
for me i rather have something that is lighter, and sounds nice.

I just dont want to spend close to 2k.. seems ridiculous for a somewhat massed produced product.
