As it turns out life isn't fair and shit happens.

Group Buy People complained about who was getting there stuff first yada yada yada - so to fix this I decided to ship them all at once. All the cables haven't arrived and I haven't finished preparing everyone's file yet.

If people didn't bitch I would have units already going out

If someone wants to pay full retail I'm gonna ship them a cable. Just how it is.

The wait is almost over - complaining doesn't speed anything up

John

Well it was really a supply issue...

Then became a bitching issue

Sorry man, not a good way to treat paying customers. Never let business get personal.

I don't think there will be any under delivering on the 'product' as John seems to have tested and developed this shit more than anyone else! From a distance it seems his dedication to making his tune the best possible, and continually updating and improving on it has created some issues for him but I can't thank him enough for his endeavours and the way that he has tried to keep eeryone upto date with what is happening.

I agree, but this keeps going on and on over the same points and must be frustrating for him to say the least!

John, so have you noticed any exhausts that stood out as better with your STG1 tune than others.
I'm past the intakes and the wasted money of buying an intake/noisemaker, I hope this feeling doesn't repeat itself in the exhaust systems.

If it's any consolation - at least your intake filter can be cleaned for repeated use, even if it adds zero performance benefit!

Perrin's shipping me a ecutek cable for keeps that arrives tomorrow(YAY), something about some final testing before they release their tune to the rest of you, so I will be high altitude datalogging the Perrin tune, the Visconti tunes(I'm a customer there too!) and the e85, all on a Perrin headerback exhaust in the days ahead. Datalogs wont be shared across venders, I have my own ethics, etc.

I think out of Perrin, P&L and Don, only one is ecuteck dealer with a dyno.

I'll also be picking up a wideband datalogger of my own for shits and giggles.

This is all temporary anyways till I do a supercharged setup right around sema...

This is true, however, John has spent a lot of time at both Accelerated, and P&L tuning their cars and parts. I suspect that the real gains as far as tuning will only occur with full exhaust, header, and intake.

The car is going so much better, waiting for the new update v1.06 or 1.07.

Hopefully will get it for this long weeknd.

You welcome for a ride anytime to feel the difference. I am in Upper Coomera so E85 is pretty close, waiting for the RaceROM and then will get the E85 tune as well.

Here is a link for E85:

@Visconti - How much is it to add the e85 map again? I think i'll probably have you do that for me when the map switching feature goes live.
