Brake piston sizes

I've search, but I can't find it.

Who knows the specs on the OEM calipers?

Front pistons are 42.8mm, front rotor effective diameter is 247mm
Rear piston is 38.1mm, rear ED is 254mm

From Legacy777's brake math spreadsheet.

That sounds about right from what I remember when we were pulling our car apart and designing our brake kits. My Engineering Mgr. is out of the office at a brake symposium right now, but he should be back late this week. I'll check our data and confirm. Thanks.

Yeah his numbers came out of the FSMs. Techinically they are not for the BRZ but WRX front brakes and Legacy GT rear brakes. I've been meaning to add some aftermarket stuff into my copy. Stoptech is nice enough to list the piston sizes for all their kits.

I like the spreadsheet idea and am picturing having one here that would allow us to quickly see the results of various OEM and aftermarket swaps.
