You'll have much better luck with the FR-S than you will the BRZ unless you happen to stumble across someone who backed out of their order (or you're willing to travel to a dealership in another state). Go to the various Scion dealers and see if they are expecting any to arrive or put in a deposit and order one.

I am headed to a local scion dealer tomorrow and put down a deposit. I am going for a Whiteout 6 speed manual.

Does anyone have a tint place they recommend? I took it to a shop near the house today that did a really half ass job on the back window and I don't even want to bother with taking it back to them to fix it.

There is a manual asphalt FRS @ charlesMaund scion here in austin. You might want to call to confirm. In case you SA guys want to run up here to check it.

Today I ordered a whiteout FR-S with the 6 speed manual. They told me it might be 2 months, but they did not need a deposit so it is all good. Now the wait begins.

San Antonio has a lot more to do and I love the Riverwalk. I also like the little humidity San Antonio has versus El Paso's dry heat. Its also green!

finally saw another fr-s, kinda close to where I live, off of fair ave and goliad/gevers, there was a white frs at the advanced autoparts. Had a big twin cam sticker on it. Kinda wish it didn't lol
