I'm not a packer fan. But wow. I think we should all boycott the nfl until we get the refs back. This is such a sad day.

Ohhhhh, don't get me started on those dirty ass hits. I'm happy Bey gave that thumbs up though I though he was dead for a min there, dude was completely limp. Happy Raiders still whooped that ass. Manning had a terrible game too; what 26 incompletes or around there?

Yea, that call was terrible. Not only was it an interception, but I think there was a push-off as well.

I know, I have Peyton on my FF. At least he didn't throw 3 picks like his previous game.

Speaking of refs, MNF... what a joke! Thanks goodness for NFL memes!

And my favorite so far!

A few points

1: If fans want the old refs back the ONLY way that's going to happen is if THEY STOP WATCHING THE GAMES. The negotiation is a financial decision and people are still turning on, showing up and tuning it in record numbers. So where's the financial motivation for the league to negotiate with the ref union?

2: People bitch about the refs always, it's a constant and in this case they made the wrong decision. The decision about the touchdown (IMHO) wasn't the wrong decision... the failure to call the PI was the wrong decision.

3: I'm a Seahawks fan and YES, I will concede that the game should have been a Green Bay victory BUT... I'll enjoy this win. You know why... 2006 Superbowl. Many professional commentators said the refs cost the Hawks the Superbowl due to poor officiating and several years later even one of the refs admitted to his poor officiating having a direct result on the game. So yes, even with the regular refs, bad calls can cost a team a game, sometimes the big game.

So while Packers fans will always remember the officiating debacle in Game 3 of the 2012 season...

Seattle fans will always remember the officiating debacle of Super Bowl XL

Quote:
On August 6, 2010, while visiting the Seahawks' preseason training camp for an annual rules interpretation session with the Seattle media, Leavy brought up Super Bowl XL without being asked, and admitted to having blown calls:

'It was a tough thing for me. I kicked two calls in the fourth quarter and I impacted the game, and as an official you never want to do that. It left me with a lot of sleepless nights, and I think about it constantly. I'll go to my grave wishing that I'd been better ... I know that I did my best at that time, but it wasn't good enough ... When we make mistakes, you got to step up and own them. It's something that all officials have to deal with, but unfortunately when you have to deal with it in the Super Bowl it's difficult.'

Oh yeah...

Somebody did mention 8 sacks right? Maybe if Mr. Discount Double Check didn't get sacked 8 times the game may have ended differently?

I remember Steelers fans making similar comments after SuperBowl XL... "You have out out-play any errors that may occur in officiating" or some BS like that.

What a bunch of horse shit!!!

These refs cost me money on SNF and MNF. F*** these bitch ass owners who won't pay up for the real refs.

And how obvious or maybe I should say it this way, how stupid can you be to not make the easiest freakin call that was a clear interception? That hail mary pass was intercepted and the ref is right above Jennings and Tate and still calls a TD?!?!?! GTFO! And if that wasn't enough they missed a P.I. before jumping up for the ball and a push at the back from the line of scrimmage that should have ended the game.
And I don't get how none of these TD's or FG's are not review able when it matters getting an important W.

Well at least this meme sort of cheered me up.

Agreed. Every time someone says "the game shouldn't be decided by the Refs" I think "Correct, Green Bay should have handled the Seahawks, but they didn't"

Let's not forget the blown COIN FLIP by a paid official in that Steelers game some years ago. The guy forgot what he said 2 seconds after he said it. That was absolutely ridiculous.
