Sorry to hear that it happened so soon! It hasn't even been a month since you got it! Hope that things work out.

What does everybody mean by SL? Does it just randomly come on when you're on a straight?

CEL and TC light came on twice for me...once at approx 2500km and then at 3300km...my car is still at the dealer and they said that the part is on back order and the eta is 3 weeks...they gave me a loaner car(2012 camry)...it's been a little over a week and I still can't believe this is happening...oh well I guess this is what you get when you purchase a first gen vehicle...

It's the Slip light, it comes on when you lose grip on the road.

After you have the issue with bad idle, it stays lit solid.

Another update. Been told ECU will fix the issue, on the intake side.
And my issue P0019 (exhaust side) requires the "phaser" / Cam Sprocket to replaced.

If you look at this post #645, you see a vid of what the phaser is.

So I'm assuming that if the dealership can't see any issues then they will refuse any kind of update on our cars. Case by case I'm assuming.

Hello again all, Last week I received a software update and my CEL light is fixed. From what I am told everyone else should start receiving this update next week. I have done 1000KM with this update and the car is back to being a rocket ship, there will be some cars still needing the sprocket fix but I had P0019 and rough idle and both issues are gone.

Got my car back on Friday.

I needed parts and ECU, she is currently running well. (knock on wood)
Guy from Subaru Canada had to come to dealership and do update on my car.

When I get the paper work, I will provide details as to what was done.

Just some jot information that MAY help.

One of our group members is a tech, He fixed one of them FR-S that was in the shop.

The one FR-S he did he had to replace the whole computer, but they already received the part from HQ since they knew about the issue for this specfic car.

P0019 I think. (Was a subaru part)

I would recommend those who have issues drop by the local dealer and get them to run your car software to check.. if necessairy they will replace teh whole computerz.
