Wow...sounds like you didn't read what he typed...

"Before he proceeded to ask anything further of me, I offered if he'd like to search my car"

And this implies the cuffs were not on yet... "Then, the first officer told the second officer to hold off, and not handcuff me"

Stand in line citizen.

The story of a robbery was bullshit. Look up police phishing, it's a textbook excuse.

I'll bet they never heard that one before! Crap circumstances, but glad it worked out okay for you. Never a good feeling seeing those lights in the rear-view...

Apparently you've never been phished before, for no good reason. Who said anything about evil anyway? Since you brought it up, yea, most I've known have been utter douchebags, most, not all.

LOL. There's a lot of that going around. Especially on forums where the "know it alls" can hide behind their keyboards.

Actually, my initial comment was in regards to how the OP kissed their asses during the grilling procedure.

I also realize they could have arrested him if he decided to be less complacent. All they have to say is when they first questioned him, he attempted to strike or actually did strike one of them. Everything leading up to that point is now moot. That scenario I am 100% certain of. So it was probably best that he kissed their asses.

the first officer shouldnt have to tell another officer not to hand cuff him they shouldnt be handcuffing him for no reason if he is 100% complying with there every request. even thinking about it

Kissed their asses? Seems to me like everyone was being fairly civil. A crime occurred, they spotted him in the area, they checked everything out, and let him be on his way. Where's the problem???

As for the rest of your paranoid post...I suppose they could have done a lot of things...but they didn't, did they??? They did their damn job. Cripes...cops just can't do anything right nowadays...even when they bust someone who just robbed a bank or killed someone, if anyone else was inconvenienced in the least little fucking bit it becomes a shit storm...
