Toyota Celica name possible for European/Asian market

YES! I'm with you guy. This car should have better name than celica ( that I think it's something good looking in external but a bored low power FF car ).
They should give it power and call it Supra or try new name like a day when they add word "Levin/Truno" to a Corolla.

I for one think it WILL be called the Celica, but I've thought that since the first prototype. It has 9th gen Celica cues all over it.

As for what the Scion will be called...they'll probably stick with FR-S, which is unfortunate because that's not a name.

I miss the days when cars had actual names. Not only do they sound better, but it also could serve as an inspiration for decos and looks. The best new vehicle name within the last decade is probably Cayman.

Theres lots of good cars older than me the car I drive now is only 4 years younger.

Depends on what part of the country you're in. A good coupe can get $3-$5K, hatch probably a little more. But there's so few that are stock and/or in good condition. People tend to beat them up pretty hard.

Decent ones here in Australia start at $10k turns into an expensive hobby car starting with that.

no its entirely different here Holden has been a part of the Australian market for over 50yrs they were their own seperate company and GM bought them out,(unlike scion which was created to get the attention of a certain demographic) Holden actually has History, racing heritage way before GM ever got involved.

p.s. no one here complains that we get a Holden instead of a GM, the only thing we complain about is that GM wont make the camaro in Right Hand Drive, and bring it down here

It's a name that's my point. They come and go, look at Pontiac. They have had a long and storied history but bottomline will always come first.

Good luck with that. Has any domestic sports car been RHD? It would be kinda cool to see a new RHD Camaro.
