As mentioned ^above^ some posting ago my son brought an xBox into what had been a PS3 world.

Got it all hooked up except one thing, xBox Live and my ClearOS firewall don't like each other! Been running the ClearOS without issues for years, now I'll probably spend all weekend trying to sort out what I have to do to get it to work without just hardwiring the xBox directly outside the house network.

Arggh.....

A couple friends of mine suggested I'd play Minecraft. After a few hours, I was quite hooked. It's fun for an 8bit game and actually requires some strategy (imo, anyway). Also helps that one of my friends has his own server and we play on that.

I've also got back in the MMO scene and my game at the moment is Rift. I've played for a few months last year before SWTOR came out, but it forgotten until a few weeks ago. I gotta say, it reminds me of the old WoW I miss.

Also, can't forget the new Pokemon games for DS next month! Yes, I still play them. They're really great RPGs.

Been in Planetside2 beta that pretty fun as well and I enjoy playing League Of Legends if anyone is on that hit me up

A friend of mine recently told me about the game The Last of Us. I saw some mention of it early on in this thread and thought I'd bring it back up. I watched the 15 minute gameplay trailer and was surprised by how similar it looks to Uncharted. You can really tell it's the same company. That being said, it looks beautiful. Though, I noticed it's supposed to be about something simply called the infected, anyone know what this is supposed to be?

I really liked the Uncharted games, but I've never been a big fan of survival/horror games. I'd probably be interested in this one though, just not sure yet.

Open Source firewall/web proxy/web server/DHCP server/etc.

Run by the ClearOSFoundation and available free for home use. Includes the ClarkConnect web filtering which is good when you have a house full of sons.

There are supposed to be people who are infected by some sort of fungal outbreak, but they haven't shown anything yet with the infected people. Supposed to be based on the idea of a fungus that affects ants or something. Looks interesting though.

As it turns out, in Tekken there are these things called "combos." I learned some and got better. Level ^

Still had to turn difficulty down to easy to defeat the Queen of Cheap Juggles (as in throwing people into the air). But at least I'm getting better...
