(GOOD news to all of us who already placed the order. He also let me know that the next orders will continue to be added to the workflow not waiting for all orders to fillup. They will stop at 25 orders, and then decide from there what they want to do (Groupbuy from time to time, go over 25, etc...)

That's great news!! He also apologized they were not able to start the Groupbuy thread but they are extremely busy. He told me I could keep helping out with the ordering instructions.

So anyone who wants to get into the pre-order, hit me up!

I've had the axleback on for a couple weeks now, finally installed the overpipe/downpipe/highflow combo last night. Feels great, and it is nice and quiet once warmed up, but when starting the car cold it's definitely on the louder side.

Can't wait man... Let me ask you, how much did it take from status "awaiting shipment" to actual ship notice?

I don't recall to be honest. There was a bit of a backlog when i ordered. Not sure how that's looking now.

Thanks. DGMBRZ had I think a 3 week wait so it will probably be similar for me. Oh well, I'll keep my mind busy looking for AVO updates

I got the exact opposite in an email on 9-19 that they were going to wait to start production until all 25 were in.

I don't think it will take long to hit 25 but I am not real patient lol. To used to instant gratification with the internet.

So I guess there are no videos of the non-muffled axle back?

I love my axleback but having the stock midpipe drives me insane. I just want a catback thats quieter than the axleback and has a helmontz resonator for when i add the header.

Doesnt make anymore power or make sense but having the stock mid bothers me >_>

I get your point of view, but I'm also glad Nameless was honest and didn't want to charge customers for a piece of pipe that made no difference in their system. I think in the near future a company will have a midpipe ready for sale by itself, I think you can even contact some companies right now, and get it from them (Perrin for one, or even Nameless).

names DOES have a midpipe, they just aren't listing it on their website because it made no power and they considered it un-necessary for customers, essentially a waste of money. But if you want one, call em up.

OK, NEW update:

1) Spoke with Ryan again. He apologized for telling me orders where gonna be built on a first come first serve basis. He was later told by Jason/John they would wait for the 25 orders to go in before starting the build (which makes sense because part of the reason to lower prices for a groupbuy is the ability to buy items in bulk, thus lowering manufacturing costs).

2) We are up to 16 orders, and two pending orders would make it 18. that would mean that in less than a week we would be needing only seven orders to complete the groupbuy. Thanks to all that have chimed in and put there orders.

3) He let me know that they will be posting updates regarding the groupbuy on their Facebook page. I will keep PM'ing details regarding ordering the gruopbuy to keep it under control.

4) Again, thanks to everyone!!

It seems that power gains are only seen if the size and shape of the mid pipe is changed.
