Hold on... for some reason I remember you said you had clear bra on your car... unless I was totally off to lunch. Not that it matters now that it's fixed.

Very nice. Exactly as you said, and most people don't realize. It's all in the prep before you lay down the paint. Little wetsanding and then a final polish and I bet nobody would ever be the wiser.

That's pretty damn good. Thumbs up OP. Now... maybe I should fix my whole car into yellow?

then I also got some clear coat to put on top. I would double check by googling your specific paint code from toyota to make sure everything matches up. |

You are correct, I did have a clear bra. But that only covers my hood and upper fender, it does not cover any part of the plastic bumper. I asked the guy why he did not put a clear bra on the bumper and he said it was for incidents like this, so I guess he was quite right.

I was turning left into a parking spot and the front was just a touch too wide so it scraped the side of the curb. Wasn't hard, but enough to cut through the paint and make it look awful.

Wow, I need to be careful of that when I get my FR-S. I drive a highlander so bumpers too high to do it even if I tried. Never had or drove a car outside of learning to drive and test drives.

i scraped my bumper as well, doing the same thing. I just plastidipped over it, and used that as motivation to pull into anywhere else i wanted to how i wanted to, because damage done, means it cant get worse. lol.
