@Olly it is quite accurate / conservative, you probably get it sooner. best to get in touch with the dealer as well and get a real time update.

The next biggest batch wouldve been the next week (14-16), when prices came out and people had a chance to visit the dealership on the weekend and put down an order (which is the batch im in), at least we know that theres SOME progress.

But i would think that considering the avalanche of orders during the last few weeks of June, it may take a few production cycles to clear.

So Its looking like most who missed out will be now onto December Build, January delivery or Jan build, Feb delivery.

Lets hope Toyota/Subaru has sorted out their stupid stock allocation problems and are actually getting orders built to spec.
I think that's a bit optimistic.

I ordered a manual gts on the 6/6 and confirmed with Toyota that the dealer inputted it on the 7th. I did not get Nov production (assuming that's all final now).

Unless I'm the unluckiest guy in Aus and am the only one from first week of June to be after Nov Prod I'd imagine Dec will still be for people ordering week 1 of June so people who ordered 14/6+ will most likely not even get prod until 2013.

Pick up date is pretty accurate... but depends on what the other information says ?... is it on boat ? in production ? in storage ?

Exactly the same for me. I think I ordered 6th. Who knows why I am still following it? I cancelled my order because I found another GTS.

This close the 3/10 could still be changed to earlier. My pick up date is currently 26/09 but I'm picking it up on 21/9

I'd check with your dealer once it's onshore as they will be the ones to tell you the exact date. They see when the truck will deliver it and only they will accurately know when your real pick up date is depending on how long they need to fit everything. I'd hold off on the insurance until then.

Just 2 more sleeps till I pick up my beautiful wranger 86. I just went and spied on it in the dealers holding yard.

looks like one docks into port kemblar on the 27th .. but im clutching at straws now..

LOL looking up CARGO freighter locations And dock reports on-line to find out what location my car is!!!

"ITS A NEW TYPE OF OBSESSION"

FYI

"Sydney docking locations at glebe halted in 2008 due to Sydney importation restrictions, all largo cargo vessels must dock in port kemblar and transport their cargo"

Im learning lots

"An extra 740 86's have been allocated to TMCA from the factory for the last quarter of 2012 and an extra 700 for the first quarter of 2013 with a significant increase in GTS variants."

No word yet on whether these extra allocations will be based on the order bank, or just allocated to dealers in order of weight group etc...

One assumes they will be for Orders placed to date, otherwise total unfair that they would be 'unsold Deealer stock' available to anyone who walked in off the street therefore 'jumping the queue' on those who have waited months!

OK in the meantime just sit back at Kin-Kora and eat donuts!!

It's an internal communication from TMCA that came through yesterday. There have been rumors going around some dealers that we were being allocated more but nothing in stone; this confirms it.

I will not upload any copies of the bulletin, you'll just have to take my word for it. Any of the other members here that work for Toyota dealers can verify if they wish to chime in.

TMCA have been communicating with Japan since the orders started rolling in thick and fast after the price announcment about receiving a larger allocation and in recent times changing the split of production to receive more manual GTS builds than the current equal share amongst the 4 variations. Must have had a small win
