New seats could be promising. I'll probably buy either a new C7 or a used C6 Z06 in the next year or two.

Yeah I was thinking all great things about the C7 as well, until I saw a rendering... Hopefully it doesn't turn out this way, I personally think it's pretty appalling:

Jury's still out until January. It's supposed to be officially unveiled at NAIAS in Detroit.

Jalopnik released renders, and most of the rumors have been that they're fairly accurate.

But take it with a grain of salt.

I can't wait to see what C7 actually looks like. This and the Dodge Viper were the cars I drooled over when I was kid. C7 needs to step it up because the SRT Viper is looking & sounding like a better car, IMHO.

I haven't seen a photo of the upcoming model that i've liked. I'm aware they're just renderings, but i'm hoping they're not very accurate. Although, i'll likely never be able to afford a Vette, and even if i could afford one, i'd likely buy something less expensive and just tune it to be faster. In the end, the new Vette doesn't effect me at all.

I agree the interior should be nicer. At the same time, I think that's where some cuts are made to keep the price low-ish, where a lot of the money goes into making the car balls-out performance-wise.

Note quite the same comparison, but I don't see many people complain that Lotus interiors don't realize the price point that the cars come in at.

Agreed! I think my FR-S may have found a mate in that red one.

I've seen and driven a Lotus Elise. Would have bought one but it took me too long to get in and out of it.

That said I thought the interior was fine. It had a racecar look and the materials used had a good quality and the seat was super comfy and supportive. Loved the aluminum floor!

I like the renderings Motor Trend did of the car. Corvettes are not my style though, I prefer FI to big blocks. If I was throwing around that sort of money I would get a GTR or M3.
