Hire a GT86 in New Zealand

Avis New Zealand has a few GT86's (I think automatic only at this stage) for hire. So if you ever visit New Zealand or just want a fun weekend you will be able to rent one out.

GT86 BRINGS SERIOUS FUN TO AVIS FLEET

September 2012

Business trips and weekend visits to the in-laws need never be boring again with Avis announcing an exclusive addition of the Toyota GT86 to its fleet.

From today, Avis will offer the GT86 in Auckland and Christchurch, with Wellington available mid September. With its ultra-low centre of gravity, 17" alloy wheels, smooth acceleration of a 2.0L boxer engine and accurate handling, the GT86 offers a thrilling drive - putting serious fun into car hire.

Stanley Hebden, National Marketing Manager for Avis New Zealand, anticipates demand for the Toyota GT86 will be very high, given pre-sales of the exciting new sports car have exceeded expectations.

"Many car enthusiasts will be eager to take the GT86 for a spin. As the only car rental company offering this high-end vehicle for rental in New Zealand, we're once again delivering unforgettable experiences for our customers."

Hebden says the GT86 will make an otherwise standard trip a driving experience, with the vehicle appealing to men and women alike.

"It's the perfect vehicle to spice up a girls' weekend away, make a business trip all the more worthwhile, or simply make the open road a driving thrill."

With two doors and four seats, 6 speaker stereo system with CD/MP3, audio and USB inputs, iPod control, plus a combination of luxury detailing, high technology and superior safety features, the Toyota GT86 puts Avis at the forefront of fleet leadership in New Zealand.

We only have a limited number available, so you will need to be quick to secure the GT86 for your next getaway. It needs to be booked in advance by calling us on 0800 655 111.

The Toyota GT86 is the second premium addition to the Avis fleet this year, following the Toyota FJ Cruiser in July.
