He didn't try and sell anything...

All he was doing was participating and answering questions for people - all with-in the rules.

He was in the middle of sorting his vendor account last week - but the mods deleted his posts. I think that's a little extreme...

Crawford is kinda turned off from what happened - not sure if you'll see him back , and that's a shame. That company is doing some cool stuff right now

It seems like the forum owner has turned off quite a few vendors with their approach. I know of another who was ready to pay then they got banned and deleted posts and they said forget it.

It sucks because the forum looses valuable info. I can only stomach so many "I Plastidipped it" threads.

i agree it seems too extreme!

And like you said, it was a development thread, not a selling thread.

BTW, thanks for explaining a bit more.

+1 Crawford is great. Add them on Facebook.

It is a shame the forum owner is putting his pockets before the community AGAIN, many threads with tons of information have been deleted/locked without warning. Wonder when the massive adds and user subscriptions start?

Crawford's a manufacturer, I don't think they were trying to sell anything directly here.

I understand rules and all, but I think there's some confusion getting in the way of information sharing here.

It seems like it.

I did not see anything until after the fact the forum admin had deleted posts and whatnot.

He made it seem like Crawford was trying something on the sly, you know, like circumventing the rules. If they weren't, that is BS...and these vendor rules are getting out of hand, that I can agree with.
