yep just call around. These guys don't list these cars on the websites. Also if you really want it, be prepared to pay for wheels you may or not like and a 3000 up charge for some random things they make you pay for.

That was my experience yesterday at three different dealers.

be waiting forever if this dealer never gets a white MT.

is this true? no special order?
I was in the same boat as you. I put down a deposit in May at my local dealership and never received any info from them on an estimated date of delivery over the next two months. By the end of July, I decided to reach out to my Scion regional sales manager (located in Kansas City, MO/KS), and after our conversation he had a raven mt put in the build que to be delivered to my local dealership. It seems from my conversations with him that a lot of the dealers are not properly educated in the allocation process and thus a lot of people with deposits down are left in the dark. I would recommended reaching out to your regional sales manager to discuss your issue. It could prove beneficial as it was for me.

My car was put on a boat the last week of August, so I should receive mine by the end of September (fingers crossed).

I hope I'm on that list, put in a "reservation" at Longo for an Ultramarine in M/T. I put my order in on 9/2 though.

It's just allocation and preferencing.

I've been waiting for a White MT too. But the manager said for our region, the SF Bay area, there are only 8 cars being available for allocation and our dealership isn't getting one.

It's been prerefernced already though so once they get one allocated it's ours!

That's what I did. Took 6 weeks.
This.

You're more than one person?

Also you're getting screwed. Piercy in Milpitas has had a few white 6MTs (including the one I bought) so I don't know what you're waiting for??? Are you only waiting at one dealer? That's NOT the way to get a car quickly.

Yes, they get the info, then they have the nerve to ask you about it all over again, lol.

It's not about having the "nerve" to.

Some people are just idiots and if they never ask, and just ordered what was punched in online I PROMISE there would be a ton of bartle-do's complaining / changing their mind / tell the dealer it's the wrong color etc etc

Ask twice, cover your ass.

Well, here's the thing about that. Say you used the configurator and built exactly what you wanted, tell me which experience sounds the best to you:

1. Hello Mr. Customer, I have here that you want a Scion FR-S, with a manual transmission, Bespoke, in Whiteout. Is that correct?

2. Hello Mr. Customer, so what car were you looking at? What tramission? What color? What options? (and all this without mentioning your configurator choices)

There's a difference between covering your ass and simply being annoying by asking the exact same questions twice. In the first scenario, I would feel at ease knowing that they got my information, in the second scenario I would be asking myself: "WTF didn't I already give this information to them?".

Geez man, how uptight are people. I don't care if I get asked the questions despite the online setup. I was asked twice. I wasn't in a hurry to get out of there or anything.

We all have some serious white-girl problems.

I worked in the customer service industry about 7 years so I may be biased. I'm not generally an uptight person, but I did pride myself in providing good service when I was in a similar sales/service position. It makes the experience better. If I was in scenario #1, I wouldn't be a ass to the sales person, but I would wonder where the heck the information went. When you spend time doing something it's natural to feel like it was a waste if you have to do it all over again.
