Coming from a 2001 Toyota Avalon (my first car given from my parents), which I've now had for 6 years. When my 86 finally arrives, I'll probably still keep the car for the daily station run.

2000 Hyundai Accent -> 2003 Mini Cooper S -> Soon GTS
Work cars (about a year after mini); Kia Predgio (worst car ever)-> 05 Toyota Hilux (the ugly ones) -> 2011 Hyundai ix35 Got the Mini around 2008 from memory for $23k. Still worth about $16k. Happy with that. |

MMMM, Karmann Ghia...I am looking for one of those to buy. Italian design with VW engine. Really nice car. Bolt a nice boxer engine (Porsche or Subaru would do just fine as the engine mounts will fit) and off you go. |

This thread needs more pics.
I'm upgrading from my first car, that I've had now for almost 8 years. 1999 Mitsubishi Verada KH Xi. Near 250,000kms on the clock and still running well, originally I wanted to replace with another luxury sedan, I never found one that provided 'more' luxury than my current car without paying +50k, so I decided to mix things up a bit and go for a sports coupe instead while I'm still young. Ditching the chrome wheels look (It was popular 8 years ago! :P) and going from black to white! |
