I'm hesitant to quote exactly because I think I may have gotten a friend-of-a-friend discount (I knew I got a deal so I just paid the man), but my guess would be in the (low?) $200-something range. If it's any higher than that then I got a BIG discount, and need to buy more gift beer. I'd guess that it's probably around there, and they do a good job.

I've taken my last few cars to Alexia's in Beaverton next to tv hwy and cedar hills. They've always been good on price and quality, plus warranty their stuff if an issue ever did come up. It's where I'm taking my car soon.

I think the last car I had done at Darkside cost about $200, I think it was $250 for my WRX wagon. I've heard nothing but good things so far about Trifer, they may get my business this time.

Metro Tint of Portland through Genuine Auto Detail.

Any experiences with this place? Yes.

Got my tint on the car. Need to go back to get the legal sticker (still waiting over 3 weeks). The quality looks good so far, but a couple minor areas need some simple pressing (which they will do for free). Can't complain and everything was done well.

UPDATE: Still waiting for the legal sticker. I have stopped in several times and been assured it will be mailed. Never received it. Going to call and have the minor areas worked due to small bubbles. Right now I could not recommend them.

I have had two other cars done at Tommy's and they are pros.

One of them was a Vette with very hard angles on the back glass and they nailed it. Very high standards.

Been in biz a long time.

I had my windows tinted today at Highline Customs in Beaverton. The car looks great! Awesome service and they use the highest quality material. No after issues with the taillight or the rear deck, and they even taped my window controls and turned on the automatic lock for the windows. Did you know that this prevents the window up-down thing that happens when you open/close the door? Good to use for freezing weather.

Matt's Window Tinting
503.738.8468

www.facebook.com/mattswindowtinting

2793 US 101 Seaside OR 97138

Staff: Matt (owner), Chris (master installer), and Jason (signage and decals)

Price for 3M 35% front and 25% rear windows: $200.

Review:

Matt and his staff are on top of their game. The shop is well lit and very well setup for what they do there. Chris was in charge of my car and took amazing pride in what he was doing. He said he saw a small hair in my back window after his install, and before I could even go look at it, he had ripped it out and started over. Chris has been installing for 12 years and it shows. I did a heavy inspection with a flash light after I left and couldn't find one thing I would want different, and even in the event that I did find something wrong, I'm sure Matt and his team would fix it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars. Everything anyone needs in a tint installer!

I will post picks of the install in my up-coming build thread.

Elite Glass Tinting
12708 Highway 99 Everett, WA 98204
(425) 347-4277

$225 to do the whole car (I had mine done at 25% all around). I've had them tint the following cars: 2008 Scion XB, 2004 BMW 545i, 2012 BMW X5, 1998 BMW M3, and now my BR-Z. They always look good and they've never made a mistake on any of my cars. I believe the warranty is life-time.

They're friendly and professional, I would give them a 5/5.
