Funny that cause my other colour I was looking at was the grey! But orange won out for me cause it's race car haha

Haha race car. Yeah . I pass the billboard at near the airport everyday that has the orange 86 on it.

My wife liked the orange too but said you not 21 anymore. Get a safe colour ! I kinda thought the same too.

I really wanted The orange more as it is exclusive colour like the wrb for the Brz, but realized I will prob be keeping this car for 10 years, as I have kept the celica for longer than that !

Gotta get my $$$ sorted. Lol . Less than 2 weeks to go !!!

Yeh the safe colour is more appealing for a long term car. I'll probably keep it for 10ish years also, don't think it'll date much.
It was such a plunge getting the orange but thought if they were advertising it in that colour then it must look alright

Gettin my $$ sorted now...such a nightmare trying to organize a lease for a car already on order, and I work for a bank!

I rang TMCA yesterday and asked if there was an estimated production date, she told me November which was disappointing, HOWEVER, she also mentioned that other people who rang up yesterday, their production month was December, so maybe a November date isn't beyond expectations.

to those who have their 86s already, when did the web tracking change from "Order to be confirmed" to "In Production"? i heard its one month before delivery? or is that too optimistic?


i ordered around the 6th of june. web tracking hasnt changed.

Has you "planned production month" changed from "to be confirmed" to something like " October 2012"? You should get that at least a mint before your order status change from "on order" to "in production"
