Skyline > Honda (new born) > choose between clean R34 GTR vpecII or 86. 86 won. But still wished I could have both.

I don't know if 'upgrade' is the right word, but its still fun and certainly just a little better on fuel than the RX7 :-)

It sure did! It was nothing special, just a 1.6 2 door in yellow! As a $2000 first car, Dad and I spent a lot of time working on it to keep it running. But that was all part of the fun of having your first car

I do kinda miss all them things from when i had my first car, there was always something to do to it.
my n12 Pulsar was so easy to do anything too, and so cheap! $250 for a good s/h gear box, $80 for a HD clutch.

I was doing my mechanics apprentiship many many years ago, we had an Escort at the TAFE, never got driven, only started here and there.
it would get an oil leak, we would fix it, sure enough a few weeks later there would be another, that would get fixed and again, another..
Was impossible to stop the oil from getting out of that thing!
I dont even think they could even design something to leak that much oil haha.
