i want that scoot 1 hood they make for the 3rd gen rx-7's with the vents and functional hood scoop. dont know why but ive always liked that hood. either way i actually like the style of the kit. wonder if there are any performance mods down to it.

hmmm.. don't think i've ever seen the nur spec kit in whiteout. thought it would match better with flashy colors but it looks pretty good. i've seen it in firestorm, ultramarine and hot lava. would like to see it in raven, asphalt and silver also!

that hood works for the FD, that front nose scoop for fresh air and rear louvered reverse vents, definitely beneficial for the 13bturbo.

But the same style hood on the Zx6....might not look as pretty as you think.

For one, the FD hood has some great curvatures, while the Zx6 hood is very flat with an awkward cut down from where the headlamps are.
Meaning any sort of shape profile we get with a hood that will look remotly good has to be more square, then roundish like the scoot hood.

And another park loses a bench.

Outside of that, it looks good.

I've linked some pictures of it here http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=3505&page=20

If you go to page 22 you'll also have it in blue. I'll post red and silver as soon as they become available over here

yeah i know we've already seen it in ultramarine (blue). in fact blue was the first color we saw it in. hmmm not too impressed with how it looks in black and gray. so i guess the only color not posted so far in the forums is silver!

just a little bit of extra info. in the factory tuned 001 (which they are referring to as FT86) they changed the suspension, brakes, wheels/tires, exterior and interior (not revealed what inside the interior they changed). the 001 wasn't designed as a pure circuit racer, but has improvements for both the track and street. the suspension was made to be performance oriented and still give a smooth ride on even rough pavement. it has not been decided if it will be sold as a complete car or as separate parts, but Tada-san says he would like to be able to sell the parts to customers who have already bought the car. nothing has been decided as far as price but they are working towards being able to make an announcement concerning that by the end of the year (i'm sure for the japan market). no mention of any other markets.

can anyone notice anything different about the interior?

Just Perfect.
Wheels are the perfect size for the car, aero kit and wing is nice, brembo brakes and i guess ECU tune. Sheer perfectness.

My personal opinion is that this is the nicest body kit I've yet seen on the car, actually looks like it belongs... whereas some most of the aftermarket stuff I've seen looks like just that - aftermarket

Guys, take a look at this. The Brembo brake calipers on this car are the same ones used on the Gazoo Racing car. Furthermore, if you look at the spec of the wheels, which are BBS RF507, they are 17x7! So that means these calipers should fit stock wheels or at least some stock sized wheels!
