If that guy is going to be a doctor, I hope to god I don't get sick in the next 30 years. His posts are barely legible.

I don't care if you're a Doctor or a bag-boy, shit like this makes you look like a dumbass >>> "A few of my classmate were all walking to the parking lot where my new FR-S sit."

I don't expect him to, however, certain things become habitual for people over time. My ex was a PHD, and all of her associates also held PHD's as well. This may be different than a MD, but with the amount of schooling, study, and the higher level of knowledge required for their fields, proper grammar became automatic for them.

Back to the nature of the comment from the OP.

you post this...

I don't know if the twin will take any of these cars out on the road. The track maybe, but definitely not being a red light racer.

If you don't want to be seen driving a Scion, you shouldn't have bought one. I love mine.

I will tell you a fact that I see everyday at work. If you were to pass/fail residents based on their writing in patients charts you would be failing a LARGE percentage of them.

This is an internet forum, not a patient's chart...part of what makes internet forums interesting is to be able to read what the hell people are typing...

So a document and record of someone's health should be held to a lower standard of legibility and coherency than this forum?

It doesn't matter if you're not a high school student because honestly you care about your image like one (and some people never grow out of it). Yes, it's a Scion. Eventually you will figure out that someone out there won't like X because of Y.

So they don't like your Scion? Get a BMW. They don't like your BMW? Get a Mercedes. Then get a Lambo. Then get a Bugatti. And now what? You're going to be called a rich a-hole. So in the end, who are you trying to please? There is only one answer and it is yourself.

Be glad they don't like it, it'll keep a lot of the d-bags away.

So if you rolled up in a Supra they would say, its still a toyota?

Who cares what a bunch or rich kids think? They are obviously not car people.

We, Ninja 250 owners get this a lot too from squids. They don't really know know how capable this motorcycle on the twisties like the FR-S/BRZ.
I feel you pain but when you're on the twisty road, it's you and your car/bike having the best time. Not them.
I, too, is a sucker of emblems. I've had 3 BMWs, 1 Porsche SUV, 2 VWs and I feel 'inadequate' if I don't have a German emblem car pulling into a parking lot or a party. Damn German marketing propagandas. I drive a Mazda CX-9 now for family duty due to 6 people in the house and I commute with my Ninja 250 to get some adrenalin rush everyday. Wife drives a Prius. I'm now debating to get a 2nd personal car whether it's a used Z3 3.0i (had one before) or this FR-S/BRZ.

Simple solution but may not be simple to do...

Man up, tell your friends to take their opinions and go fuck themselves.

Going forward, be true to yourself and don't worry what others think. If this was your girlfriend or wife and they said she was ugly, would you buy her cosmetic surgery or dump her to appease them?

If so, sell your FR-S and buy a Prius 'cause you're a real p.ussy.

If not, follow the advice above.
