Swift Prototype Install
I'm helping Swift with their R&D for the BRZ springs.
They installed the 1st prototype (1st picture) on my car last July with an estimated .8" front and .6" rear. 2nd prototype (2nd picture) was installed today with an estimated 1" for both front and rear. Although, rear seem to have no significant drop compared to the first prototype. They will install the full production version on my car next month and should sit a bit lower than this 2nd prototype to show the supposed real drop on both the front and rear. Can't wait for Swift's announcement on official drop and spring rates for the full production version.

Nice!! And being they are not production I know this will change, but how was the ride with them? Not looking for a full on review, but just a quick comment if you can
Thanks, Rick |

I felt a stronger connection to the road. Significantly less body roll, firmer but can surely pass as a daily driver. Definitely stiffer but not to the point that I need to flinch thru potholes and dips. I can say though that I felt the car's tendency to bounce more on spirited driving on severe uneven surfaces. These are truly great springs from a great manufacturer. This was mentioned before - only good things come from Swift!

Looks good! Swift makes good products.
You might want to move the decimal place in your first post. .08" --> 0.8" - andrew |

I emailed Swift the other day and they said their springs are about a month out from retail availability.

I run Swift springs with my DG-5s coilovers in my other car. Needless to say i'm a big fan.
With that said, if you're running their prototype what kind of testing was done? Any actual data logging, shock dynoes, testing different rates? I buy Swifts for many other reasons asides from simply wanting to lower ride height so any additional data would help. Or perhaps you're just testing for the "street" driveability portion of the development? |

Guys from Swift are pretty hesitant to release any info. They did their testing while my car was with them. Don't want to spill any info and piss anyone on their side. As mentioned, they will be releasing the official product and specs next month!
