So then the answer is until someone pulls you over for not having one.

My front bumper came drilled so I might as well put the front plate on it.

Yes, but his question is for how long he can use the dealer sticker as his "front" plate.

I haven't had a front plate in 6 years. I have gotten a ticket while parked in a lot for it, but What ever I just paid it and that was that. Last time I was pulled over for tit was when I was like 23 or something.

F them. They will never win. In fact I don't put rear plates on until I get pulled over. I have gotten away with it for 12 months once.

I know what you mean and since most of the vehicle codes are infractions they don't really go against you.

Also, a friend of mine had her accord coupe for 2 years with no plates at all before she was pulled over.

Also bought a grimspeed license plate holder but not going to put it on unless I get told to. Several people I know with vehicles ranging from a Tacoma to an Elise haven't, in the last 5 years, had issues with not having a front license plate.

Same with California's tinting law. Now that I started specifically paying attention to it I'm noticing that about 1/2 the cars around the central coast and high desert have tinting on the front windows to one degree or another.

Depends on where you live , I got a NO front plate ticket ONE time,
and it happened in SF while I was driving the company car out for deliveries
during my part time job days.

Anyone with the grimmspeed bracket on the fr-s? I've seen lots of pics on the brz and it looks clean but I have yet to see any on any fr-s' and I'm wondering about it getting in the way of the natural lines in the front and possibly messing with the aerodynamics anyways.

I don't know if this is a grimmspeed bracket, I told the dealership where I wanted my license plate mounted and they took care of it:
