those are drift cars, they aren't seeing 140mph. if it's above the roof line, it's not helping.
apr, voltex, varis all send theirs in wind tunnels for track proven worthiness.

Most of the FR-S community will not see 140mph on a regular basis.

Most manufacturers won't have the budget to wind tunnel test every wing design and application they advertise...even the companies you mentioned.
Also - for aerodynamics.... having high mounted wing will provide more down force then low mounted wings...

Anyhow, BCL is just putting out there another option for the FR-S community... so let's show some love for doing so.

I don't think our cars would do 140mph anyways. Yes they're drift cars. My BRZ is also a drift car. So its ok.

These guys actually do a lot of testing on their wings.

Great company, awesome guys, great product.

Not for everyone. But nothing is.

why did this perfectly respectable forum just get turned into Zilvia?

turns out, if you don't need a wing this big don't look at a wing this big!!! You sound like kids standing in front of a condom machine arguing about "there's no way anybody needs a magnum, i mean really who's packing that much meat"

turns out the joke is on you kids, alot of people bought this car to go to the track, and guess what, the slower your top speed the more surface area is required for a desired amount of downforce, also please try to remember there are atleast a few cars out and about with 400+ hp...just because you arern't serious doesn't mean the next guy isn't.

the wing is higher and wider than the body for a reason...if you don't understand why then you don't understand the topic at hand and should be learning, reading books, not spreading misunderstandings....

I would buy this solely because it looks cool... But there's no aero cool enough to compliment this fine aerodynamic trinket.

Perhaps some better shots of the wing on the car would convince people? On a lowered car with aftermarket wheels on a track, or in a photogenic area would do wonders for PR vs. two over-saturated shots in a random parking lot where the wing is just being held in place. That is what turns me off the most...not the wing itself. If people don't know who you guys are, it looks really amateur.

Give them time. I just spoke with Colin at BCL and they are still possibly over a month out on development. When it is finalized it will be impressive for sure.
