Asphalt - Plasta Dipped wheels.

Well i know its any people have already done it but for those who haven't yet and would like to see how your FR-S/Ft86 would look with plasta dipped wheels, here it is.
I did mine yesterday with my buddy Sam. Hope it helps if any one is wondering how it would turn out.
Everything including flash cards and 4 cans on dip totaled 20 bones.
Cheap very easy to do and looks great.

2nd to last pic... is it just dust and dirt or are those scratches in it already?

Definitely has to be just dirt. I have had mine dipped on my asphalt for almost a month now and there is 0 signs of wear and thats with quite a few washes in the mix

Wait, why tape off the edges? Don't want rubber on the rubber?

They look a lot better as an all black wheel. I agree.

I really want to do this but I keep reading about how plastidip is only 200 degree certified and that it's actually flammable. A few laps of AutoX or track gets things MIGHTY hot in that area.

I like black wheels on most colors, but I'm afraid plastidip just ends up looking like a good spray paint job.
