In short - I'm more of a libertarian; fiscally conservative but socially liberal. Your response is under false presumption and without true understanding of the 1% group. Most of the 1% are upper-middle class professionals (doctors, lawyers, etc.) who are taxed at the same rate as the truly wealthy. However, those who are truly wealthy have the funds and know-how to pay essentially nothing. Go figure. [/QUOTE]
You are right about the tax breaks, the 1/10 manages to pay 10% or less, with the bottom 9/10ths of the 1% often paying in the top bracket. That explains part of the increasing polarization of income classes. The entry of China into the global workforce explains most of the rest - unemployment, off-shoring and eroding incomes. But, the high-income professional classes still vote overwhelmingly for the more conservative party.

Meh im not really into american muscle. Im looking for another R35 or an R33 maybe even a supra or RX7. C63 is great but i wanted an affordable track car and something to tow it with so i got a truck as well.

As for mods planned, well, mainly cosmetic.
Window tint (of course) on Tuesday, then rear spoiler, rear fog light, HID plug n play, interior and footwell LEDs, CAT back exhaust, and providing there is no heat soak (bog) issue - air intake. The clutch height was already adjusted. In time, get those OEM tires off and replace with stickier summer tires.

Sure, it is tempting to put on a turbo or supercharger (I'm a supercharger fan), but I have a few issues about adding those.
1. Immediately voids the warranty
2. Not sure if the internals of the engine are up to specs and handle the stress over time
3. Can the drive-train handle 100+hp? Transmission up for it, clutch, drive axle, rear diff??
4. Often overlooked, when one adds speed, braking and handling must also be addressed. That said, upgraded brakes and suspension would be required, thus adding to the cost.

IMHO -- To add forced induction and make the PROPER and necessary upgrades, the cost is just not worth it on the FR-S. I figure the turbo or supercharger would run about $5 to $6k installed, then add any other necessary upgrades and the $10k mark would be hit. For that amount of money, I would have purchased a more expensive vehicle that was "faster" as stock (example 370Z, WRX STi).

Once the offical TRD product is released, including the required additional upgrades (if any), perhaps Toyo / Subu will offter an extended warranty for those who quality and had the TRD supercharger installed by a certified tech.

A few companies who offer boost for the C6 Corvette offer warranty backing.

Time shall tell...
