What personal stuff? I think you crossed the line with this post below myself. I know John doesn't need me to get involved but the name calling is totally uncalled for.

Plus John was a major asshole when we spoke a few times. I'd never trust anyone with this garbage level of professionalism. I urge many of you to look into other solutions or wait for ones the future. MANY, if not all of them will be cheaper as well.

Sure I could've said something else but the point got across. I don't need to be lectured about something when I call someone for a product they are selling. It should be a simple process of setting up the sale and then completing it.

I'm done responding in this thread, the point has gotten across, hopefully everyone will be treated with more respect from here on out. Good luck everybody.

Hang in there it's worth it. Hopefully if this thread heads back in a positive direction, the loaner cable will keep circulating, and we'll get to the point you could even borrow another member's cable. Think the plan was to get to borrowed-cable tunes once all the cable-in-hand guys got theirs but that was also before the sh*t hit the fan around here. Plenty of guys willing to loan them out and think we *were* getting close to that point. Of course having to make the lists and constanstantly rebut angry posts prob isn't speeding things up, ha. Hopefully loaner cables will still be an option once the dust settles, plenty of us have offered to share. If you have E85 close to you it'll get you more than any non-FI mods.

Yeah cruzinbill is going to let me borrow his cable once the others get done. Once that is done I don't even care about getting my own cable until we can do map switching on the fly and thats when i will do the e85 tune also.

At first I thought this thread had some humorous moments in it. It is now plain pathetic.

I have to scroll past these upset spoiled children with paranoid schizophrenia that think they are getting burned on the money they prepaid for a kit.

I check this thread for updates and information and now it's like 85% garbage from kids that only know immediate gratification.

This thread was set up for information. "Latest BRZ Flash Info."

Instead there's a bunch of kids here that don't take their psych meds.

Why isn't this thread being cleaned up by the moderators or the troublemakers blocked from making posts here?

What do you expect from someone who has to let everyone know what number they were to something?

I think John has carried himself very well in here in response to everything.

If you have an issue with someone please keep it to PM's as that is not part of the thread. If anything or anyone annoys you use the ignore button.

Your right and I'm sorry. I should have another thread for Group Buy Info, instead I have it mixed in with my lastest flash info.

But I dont like deleting posts because it normally means there's something to hide.

I dont have anything to hide - I stand behind what I said, and what I've done.

Good or bad.

I didn't lecture you on anything.

You called me demanding I sell my product or service the way you wanted it.

ie - borrow someones cable.

I told you no, then explained myself.. I realized that wasn't good enough for you - well because you kept on moaning about it on the phone so I went into greater detail on why I was doing it like this.

Don't get me wrong everyone should be able to pay for a service, and get the service that they want. But you can't demand for something someone isn't willing to do.

It's not like I even took any of your money - if anything you just had me on the phone then proceeded to call it 20 times.

Another thing - Don't come in here being all pissy and saying your going to have me black listed etc etc.... because I've been too busy to get everything done and you dont like this and don't like that.

As you can see I'm slowly getting fed up with all the B.S.

I don't have the time for it, and other people of this forum don't have the time for it. Since 10PM EST I've been going back and forth with you (and others) instead of preparing peoples tunes or spending time with my wife.

I'm also not the only EcuTek tuner for the BRZ.. So I'm not holding a gun to your head or anyone else. You can go to EcuTek's website and look up the other dealers.

You can also have your tuner purchase the software. It's not that much $$

Good luck with your build

-John

Im confused. First you said there are standalones out there that are cheaper, then say ProEFI is about $1500 (or twice the amount paid for ECUTek). But I digress.

John is one man. Hes been tuning shop cars for at least a month. Hes been writing tunes for us. AND he's been taking care of normal business at the same time (he doesn't just tune the 86). Did you really expect him to drop everything and patiently wait for you to send log files to him, then tweak the maps one at a time, rinse, and repeat?

Well I've been doing this for a few other companys that have turbo setups that have yet to hit the market.

It's something I can do when planned a head.

I 100% agree with you..i come here to check updates, to make sure im current with whats going on and to see if theres anything interesting that has made its way to the platform. I understand peoples frustration but also understand johns. A while back i met john around midnight to do an update and it was like 12:30am and his phone was still going off and he was still answering some of them here and there. This was a group buy and usually group buys have waves..the first 15-20 people are good and get their stuff and then the rest wait until stock arrives and then shipment is sent to the rest. Group buy is like a preorder and u just reserve a price and when stock arrives its allocated to the buyers. Im sure this is the first group buy for some people and they were unaware, but just be patient. The tune is worth the wait in my opinion. I also agree this thread should be cleaned up because this thread has now become
