How much was one at their cost?

He quoted me 1050 for 5 year warranty, but I believe the finance guy can do better I'm sure.

I spoke to my rep today at Toyota/Scion. Went through the details and put in my request for the vehicle replacement.

From how they've been treating you, I'm sure everything will work out smoothly. And I'm glad about it.

Yep, I am very happy to say that I chose TOYOTA over Subaru this time, but I know Subaru is usually really good as well.

Just heard from my Toyota Rep. It is looking like the ETA for the vehicle is the end of October. I believe this is a soft ETA though, it is not a promise. Either way that is sounding good.

Read your original post quite some time ago. I'm happy you get a reasonable care from toyota.

Get a legitimate estimate from a recognized good body shop. Tell the dealer/factory rep that is the amount of your claim. You want a check for that amount and if you decide to live with it, that is what you will do. They owe you the amount to repair it because potentially you will loose that amount when you sell the car.

I envy you guys... I've been in and out of new cars so often that I can't smell "new car smell" anymore. I didn't even realize it until just a few weeks ago when someone actually said "WOW I LOVE THAT NEW CAR SMELL"

Mmm... Gotta love that toxic rubbery smell!... lol

I, for one, actually don't mind the "new car smell"... but it does kinda get to your head after a while especially in the hot weather...
