First time buying street soccer ball... What's the difference between indoor (or even outdoor)? IDK, a guy at the store told me, but only thing I remember is, it's smaller than outdoor ball (size 5 vs size 4).

Kicked it around a bit... & it's pretty interesting ball. Heavy enough to keep it on the ground, but not heavy enough to kick around.

With the limited info I have, I'd have to say no on both accounts. But those are horrible pics and personality means a lot to me.

Edit--> Why does Java need to upgrade ever ten minutes? Seriously, how much are they changing?

Okay, took my car into SF today. Driving turns out to be much less economical than I thought because the f***ing traffic jams waste so much gas >_< Luckily I'm willing to be somewhat extreme and use the hills/grades to kill engine and bumpstart as necessary, so the impact is reduced but I think I burned almost 2 gallons today when I thought I only needed 1. Oh well, still cheaper than bart, and I had an empty seat!

I just finished EVERY EPISODE of MightyCarMods. I also bought some merchandise (and accidentally shipped it to Texas rather than IL).

Now what the hell am I gonna do?

Simple:

Design a carbon fiber intake manifold for the twins and Supras. I'll take one for the Mk3 with ITBs boxed in a carbon plenum, please and thank you.

Random question. Does CF intake keep the heat out more than other material... Like aluminum?

Yes. It's basically fancy, expensive, reinforced plastic. Aluminum conducts heat like crazy.

Meh, the volume of air the engine is capable of sucking in is large enough that the heat conduction should be pretty negligible. That is, unless you do the (rather silly and not super effective) ecomod of "warm air intake" where you draw air directly from around the exhaust heat shields where it has a chance to warm up plenty from contacting the exhaust pipes.

I suppose heat conduction from the head increases by a little but we're talking just a plain aluminum pipe, realistically only the few inches of pipe closest to the head are going to be at a significant temperature above ambient.

Maybe raw numbers will prove me wrong, but engines suck in a crapton of air so that's what I'd expect.

Ah~ gotcha, thanks!

I wonder what material would be every effective for making an intake...

Cheapo ABS? Insulates well, cheap, easy to form (at least I think...), cheap, impact resistant, strong enough for an intake, creep resistant and cheap. And did I say cheap?

By the way, is anyone able to find the service weights of Mazda MZR engines (any will do, I just want to see how they compare to Toyota engines), or Skyactiv engines (supposedly lighter despite having electric oil pumps and presumably electric water pumps)?

The Skyactiv MT looks like a neat little transmission, I'm pondering about sticking a Mazda drivetrain into my car once this 1ZZ decides to give up on me.

I've heat soaked my old 1JZ car's intake manifold a bunch of times. Uncomfortably warm to the touch. Of course I never touched it while it had circulating air around and inside...

But the CF suggestion was because awesome. Not because empirical data. Heh.

The thing is most girls couldn't handle it in the end vs those who could. So it leaves me to wonder if I screwed myself from the good ones. But like I said I was younger and learned to fix/improve on my dating strategies. So the concept was there I just wasn't doing it right before.

Or being emotionally unavailable. It's like catnip to girls for some odd reason.

Okay fellas I'm kinda bored and work is kinda slow today so I'm gonna ask a question.

Would you hit this? & if not are you physically attracted to her in anyway?
- Hmmm, I wasn't sensing that from what I was getting from them. More like less screening and more fun (you can read that as dirty and not). So in my own words I would call it my "rotations." I had something different from one girl than the other, something that one girl could offer from the next. Of course though I hit a few bumps while doing this and I never cared for it back then. So I changed from it a bit, but somehow some things still comeback to bite me back in the ass.

- And I say being emotionally unavailable would work in HS, I don't how effective it be when you're in your mid 20's or especially in your 30's.

- I know plenty of guys that would just say, "a **** is a ****, its just another ****."

Street ball should be more durable when playing on concrete, through puddles, and on dirt and rocks. You can get them in size 5 too, I think nike or puma makes them if I recall correctly. I mainly use them for pick up futsal (size 3).
