Hyundai owners are delusional.. ..or merely have extremely poor judgement in regards to automotive aesthetics.. To quote one of the members of the GC forum:

So let me get this straight...

You go to a site based around a particular competing vehicle and...what? Expect threads praising your choice of vehicle instead of what they've purchased for themselves? I mean, let's be realistic for a minute here.

Aesthetics are personal opinion, and no matter your own opinion it won't be shared by every individual. But because your opinion doesn't jibe with theirs, they're delusional? That's fairly immature, isn't it? Beyond that, there are plenty of 10-12 owners that think the new front end is terrible, and there are 13+ owners that think the old one isn't so hot.
Likewise, there are people on here that like look of the FRS but not the BRZ, etc..

this just some ignorant people here. I don't like the 13 front end but i would still buy it. Saying the genesis coupe is completely inferior to an FRS is wrong I'm sorry. FRS has strengths and weaknesses just like every other car.

what does this have to do with anything? all i asked for was the video of an FRS beating a genesis. If you can't find the video then their is nothing to say. I'm sorry but I have yet to see an FRS beat a 2013 genesis in a race.

I still have to see one in person, but from the pictures, the 2013 looks hideous. It's a shame, really, because I think the pre-facelift GC is a great looking car. They've improved pretty much everything else to the point where I'd feel like an idiot buying the pre-facelift one, but am not too interested in the facelift's ugly new face.

I wasn't stating that the FR-S was faster, I was merely pointing out that the Genesis looks atrocious.. Sorry your reading comprehension skills are lacking. I didn't buy an FR-S because it's a fast car, neither the FR-S nor the Genesis is fast. I bought it because it's a fun daily driver (I drive around 500 miles a week) that is RWD, gets good gas mileage, and has decent performance. However, the FR-S will be a much better platform for tuners than the Genesis due to having a much lower curb weight, lower CG, lower CD, weight distribution closer to 50/50, etc..

actually their almost the same distribution lol. You said in your post the frs is faster then a genesis. I don't see anywhere that it could be.

It looks way better in person, but not a big fan. Everything else they did a great job on. The best model year will be when the do the entire refresh in 2016.
