I'm actually going through the GB thread now and getting all the info out of there that I can. Once I do that, I can open access up to others.

Not sure if people are familiar with the way google forms work, but John will have something similar to this that he is working off of, problem is that it contains personal information that cannot be publicly shared. When the form is filled out, it adds a line to a spreadsheet and the names are kept in the order that it was filled out. These are our full names with personal information though. I for one do not want it publicly shared. Sure there's a solution here to make it easier on John and those on the list, just not sure what it is. This is probably something that needs to be run by John to see what will work best for him. He was very thankful for the form that was created, but was part of the process of creating it (what info should be included etc).

I completely agree that the "master list" that John has should definitely not be shared because of personal info. This is just a generic list so other members can see how many people are on this list, who is waiting for cables, tunes etc. There is no real names or addresses etc. The info in this list is what's available in the GB thread.

Here is the updated list. I just took the info from the group buy thread that I could determine if people posted that they paid in full, left deposits, received cables, tunes etc. It's open to be edited by anyone with access to the link. Please only update info regarding yourself. If you have received your cable and tunes etc, please make the appropriate marks in the spreadsheet with a "Y" for yes and a "N" for no. I left a bunch of blanks at the end because I am sure I missed people because the original list of 35 in the first post is gone.

*Removed link to spreadsheet and it's locked to editing* See this post - http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...postcount=1085

Although this feels like a fair question I'm almost afraid to ask it. Does the order in which Full Payments were made determine who gets loaner cables/back ordered cables and eventual tunes?

This thread is kinda funny : ) well, from someone who hasn't purchased anything yet. It's like everyone is walking on eggshells, afraid to ask a question in fear of being online repramanded or something. Then, when a question is asked, it's like. "umm....John... im not trying to be pushy or anything but..."", geeze!!!

Perhaps it's time this tuner uses some of his money and hires more help. (not trying to be pushy or anything

i wonder how will op (john) feel if we get the tune first even before paying for it, all his work done on our cars and then after we start lagging about the payment because we are too "busy" enjoying the tune .. no offense #justsaying 60+paid tunes * 750 = 45,000$$$ yea i think he can afford some help for sure

Heh, your right! But then when you concider the age group of most of the buyers, it's easier to understand their comments

Some of us are not so young and have been around awhile

The group buy was way more overwhelming than John anticipated and wiped out the inventory of cables, I'm pretty sure just knowing where we are on the list will make everybody feel better.

Thats weird that u guys are getting bad gas mileage. on the lastest update john gave me i got way better gas mileage..with non stop driving and cruising at 60mph straight i was able to hit 39mpg...but then again i never floored my car once and used cruise control...i know john had mentioned that his new update brought more power than 1.2 so maybe at the higher rpms the car isnt more economical as it used to be.

I drive mine a bit on the hard side. Maybe a few redlines a day. Cruising around 3.5-4 rpm. Flooring every three lights. But I did drive the same with the stock ecu.

Since im done with the gas mileage tests ive been driving my car a little harder but not going crazy. ill drive my car normally and shift 2.5-3rpm but here and there ill spin her to 5-6k..my girlfriend actually raced some dude in a tsx two nights ago and beat him, i was so proud of her..I remember john saying that that new update will give better mileage(normal driving) but that it had more power in the higher rpm band so im guess he changed a few values and now the gas uses more fuel in the higher rpm band thus the added horses. i know rusty just did a test and he was driving his hard too here and there and he got 26.9...maybe ur enjoying the tune a little too much lol

I want to add my $0.02 - I get that communication is key and many of you are "customers" but this isn't a typical on the shelf product that is in great supply. Every and I mean EVERY part for this car is a waiting game so far. Patience is key. I personally dealt with a nearly 6 week wait for exhaust that was supposed to be 2-3 weeks, my 5AD aero kit has been applied incorrectly 4 times and I've been without my beloved FR-S for 23 days (& counting) and tunes/parts are taking time to R&D then produce large scale. Do I agree John could be a little better to the GB group, sure. But again, this isn't something that is largely available and everyone needs to be patient, plus he's ONLY 1 GUY! He only anticipated 10-15 in the initial GB so kudos for him for a great product and it's awesome everyone is on board! It seems that overall this is an AMAZING tune and product to us ENTHUSIASTS. Remember, we are all on the same team here!!! I know this may seem like a defense for John but he will take care of everyone, I'm sure. Cheers and enjoy your tunes!

Completely Agree. I said in an earlier post it is managing expectations. John is the vendor, we are the customers. I am extremely busy too. I am slammed at work, have three kids etc...
People would be a lot more patient if it was free. It is not. 775 is a lot of money to send off and not hear anything back.
John I am more than happy to ease your stress. Feel free to take me off the list and send the money back.
