But they got the rest of the car right...how could they let something that ugly through?

All of us are not sure what the taillight is going to look like. Maybe it will turn out to be better than what we are expecting, but I think a little bit better than this is acceptable.

Yeah, especially considering its part of the car everyone behind me will be looking at.

I'd even take the MKI tail light over this. However, I won't judge it until the press release comes out.

MK1 taillight? I think it's the best production-ready-looking taillight.

I'm just thrown off by how the car has elements from Mk I, Mk II, and the FR-S. But the tail lights came OUT OF NOWHERE!!!!

If they were from ANY concept that would be cool.

LOL, that's pretty true, on the road you always see the rear end of the other cars (which is why I'm sad the diffuser apparently didn't make it I really like the look of a fat diffuser for some reason)

I don't think they need to even try that hard to make the lights look good, just make sure they're wider and extend farther inwards in some way and I'll be happy even if it looks kinda chunky with the circles like it does here, although maybe that's just my taste. I really hate narrow taillights, biggest problem I have styling-wise with current Lotus cars (though their concepts had great rear ends ), and the Ferrari 458, which looks absolutely gorgeous except for that tiny silly looking taillight.

Exactly! These were stolen from the fugly BMW Z4 or something. Idk how they could screw this up of all things.

If it is true, this car is super close to production ready. Liquidsilver wasn't kidding.
Did you already notice the antennae and the ducktail? I think it's safe to say it's most likely legit. We could always check it for editing, not sure who knows how to do that though .

WoW could be shot for trolling . I smiled when I saw the hidden pic though , I've seen it way too many times to get caught again.

does anyone know toyo's usual MO for these kind of things? i gotta be on the look out in case it drives by o_o

also, note how there is no spoiler whatsoever on this one, not even the little one.
I spy a ducktail, it's very minor though. But it's closer to what quite a few guys here have been asking for which was either no wing or subtle ducktail style spoiler.

They are there to save money and weight . You can always swap tail lights out if you have the coin.
