"What was your childhood like, Wade?"
". . .I cannot remember." "Why?" "A side-effect of early testing of OBX; I remember nothing before that first injection." "Lucky, I wish I could forget my past." "It's disorienting, William. Not knowing who you are, who your friends are, or what you were once striving for-- you only know you're here now and you've got to make the best of it. I relearned all medical training and started from scratch with Marcum's help. I was determined to become someone my past self would have been proud of. I didn't know who I was, so the logical action was to be the best at everything I attempted. That was my ethic." "But look at what you achieved-- 'The World's Entrepreneur' is definitely something your past self would be proud of, and you've saved the world over and over again. I'd trade my past for success and heroism any day." "Perhaps you're making a mistake by defining yourself by your past. You have immense power-- stronger even than Alexander Grey-- yet so often you stumble attempting to utilize it. I've seen it through your eyes, William-- doubt is like a cancer, growing inside and one day you may let it kill you. When you come to terms with your past, you'll become 'The World's Hero.'" He took a sip of his coffee and began walking back toward the open door. He stopped for a moment, "One more thing, William-- you saved my life back there-- stop trying to take that away from yourself. You're desecrating yourself by trying to achieve heroism you've already attained," then he continued inside, closing the heavy roof door behind him." -William Bernard Hendriks & Felix Miles (Wade), White Rook II: Dawn of the Accolade

1. Outcome Independence - Unconcern for women’s reactions. Nonchalance. Or to quote pop culture: Quote:
2. Be Desirable - Become a Man who other men want to be, and other women want to have intimacy/relationship with. And more importantly, 3. Self-Confidence - Self explanatory. Once you have this everything else usually falls into place. After having study & trying to research and read everything on gender & relationship dynamics these are the traits I have found that are most desirable to women, imo. Women tend to see men as success objects so don't be a total loser and you'll have better relations with the opposite sex. Unless of course she is borderline personality disorder (BPD) aka batshit crazy then RUN for the hills like your life depended on it. And I want to ask people here: What is the foundation for a good relationship?

"There is no way to properly measure a power as great as mine was at that moment. The Obelisk stared unwaveringly with a mixture of awe, envy and impotence as energy exploded from my body into interstellar space. The universe itself rattled and vibrated, the Earth transmigrated through higher dimensions and fluctuated through spacetime, and the sun even hung suspended in my shadow. I hovered inches off the charred soil, steeped with energy denser than all the stars in the observable cosmos, invigorating the fortitude that distilled from my human blood and emotion. I finally unlocked my power and on that day, used it to free us from ourselves." - William Bernard Hendriks, White Rook III: Exodus

1. The cardinal rule of relationships... my sociopath quote comes to mind. The side that needs the other person less will always have more power over the relationship. Acting like what happens doesnt bother you is a great way to shift the power in your favor. Hence why "compromise" never works... 2. Being desirable is directly a result of either having an alpha mindset or a plate spinning lifestyle... both telling her that you have other women ready to take her spot, so she should fight to be with you; that you are the "prize" as rollo puts it. 3. Confidence is a result of successful encounters with other women. It makes you act in a different manner, as a reflection of being a desirable man. However; I was watching a pick up artist on youtube, a very smart man, describing a woman as having two sides to her; one side that wants to fuck and be a naughty girl, the other that doesnt want to look like a slut in front of her peers... so you have to act accordingly. Rollo also described a similar cognitive dissonance when he said girls want to fuck the alpha male jerk, but also want to date the financially secure and responsible guy to nurse her offspring in the best possible environment. It's a constant battle in a woman's mind; but really it all makes sense when you look at the basics. So to answer your question, a good relationship is based on a guy that posses both alpha and responsibility qualities; and both the man and woman have already had their fun and want to settle down. If both are reasonably desirable by the opposite sex, then the relationship should have spark for a long time, with a constant power struggle though haha. I have no qualms with the idea that my marriage is an means to an end. We both wanted to have kids with someone that had a similar view of parenting and the value of children, someone provocative to talk to, someone we desired in the bedroom, and someone who measures success in a similar fashion. (success is a measure of happiness, not dollars. Though, dollars help.) Last edited by Calum; 09-07-2012 at 09:05 AM. |

Plate spinning? So that's what they call that?
I haven't done that in quite a while. Probably cause it was easier to be sneaky about it when I was younger. I'd say I've grown out of that cause I've hurt some girls because of it. I'm obviously more upfront with it now, its just not as enticing to me... sort of.
