Oh, and as far as being robbed goes, the dealership charged an extra 1000 on top of retail for a few negligible extras: 500 for scratch protection and 500 for window tinting. At least they did a good job, but my car ended up being almost 29000 out the door for the base with manual transmission.

This has been an interesting thread so far; I didn't know that dealerships were allowed to modify the Scions and jack up the price.

Found an FR-S whiteout with no port installed accessories except wheel locks and trunk mat for 25.3k, M/T. Dad and I were ready to sign it off and buy it until the financial manager says we have to buy the car with tinted windows, rims, paint sealant, and "a body kit." the guy said we were looking at around 36k out the door. As a result, we went out the door for free. We were pretty pissed since they showed us the car at sticker price plus it was on the website for MSRP.

My dad's manager sells the car with add ons (leather seats) but they don't advertise the price until everything is on it, that's the correct yet unethical loophole to the Pure Pricing. That way, if you don't want it, you can skip over it and don't have to waste your time.

Not really the FR-S, but found a 39k BRZ AT Premium and a 40k BRZ MT Limited w/ rear diffuser, like 3 weeks ago. Havent been there since, but am guessing its still collecting dust.
