i would recommend the flossy shift knob as well. i got mine in black with the custom 86 logo and damn does it look sexy!! its about twice as heavy as the stock one and it makes shifting feel like a hot knife through butter!!

I have the RA25 Onyx that is 340 grams. I've had it on my previous 3 cars and they make the shifting so smooth. When I sell my cars, I keep the knob. Gear engagement in every vehicle that I've had it installed on is so much more accurate and smooth.

The only drawback is that it gets damn hot in the summer and damn cold in the winter but that's what A/C and gloves are for. I don't mind sacrificing short term comfort for improved shifting performance.

Looks awesome too.

Yeah, I just saw japanpart's status update on fb saying they just added it. Hah, I dunno guess I never cared much for interior pieces that are functionally equivalent to the stock pieces but they do look cool and now I'm having second thoughts. x]

I love the leather STi one, but at $180 I think I'll pass.
