Yup, pretty rare combo, huh? I don't tend to find many other geeks into cars as well.
Cool! Keep it up the cosplay! Usume gonna be cool to see & Connor gonna be hard, but if you pull it, it'll be awesome!!

As for car & cosplay been rare hobby combination, I wouldn't say that. I know several friends that have those 2 combination hobbies.

Nah, not really that hard, just time consuming with making all the weapons, the embroidery (which I already did) and the sewing.

Fair enough, one of my guy friends likes cars and cosplays too, how about rare for a woman to combine those two hobbies? :P

I don't know anything about cosplay, but I thought it only happened during comicon type events. how often does cosplay happen? Is it only for special events or do you people just cosplay every weekend or whenever they feel like it? Not trying to be ignorant - just curious.

Well, there are major conventions that happen in large cities a few times a year..

Comiccon, and ACEN are the largest ones, but there are other roving conventions, not to mention a lot of people will take any opportunity to dress up. E3 for example, or run their own smaller group get togethers on the weekends to plan out their next costume, or prepare for their next event.

It's black but my buddy used the HDR option on his iPhone so that's why it looks like a chameleon paint job.

Thanks Ichi. I believe there are a few others Supra owners here but don't really post as much as they used to.

It still hasn't hit me yet that I literally flew out to Missouri to get this car. It's extremely rare to find one unmolested, with only 54k miles, adult owned and I took a huge gamble by going there. The guy who owned the dealership is extremely cool, owned 2 other Supras (now owns a Porsche) and is known on Supraforums so that helped with the purchase.

I think once it arrives in CA then I'll be able to breathe a huge sigh of relief since it's being picked up tomorrow and should be here next Tues. It's been sitting there for a week but I trust they have taken care of her from the last time I've seen her.

Mostly yeah, though some people do have cosplay get togethers outside of cons, and thru out the country there pretty much one somewhere just about every weekend, I've been to four so far this year myself.
