FRS/86/BRZ monthly winner? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I was thinking we should have a monthly poll for an FRS/86/BRZ for car of the month! Like we vote of which car we like!

Any ideas?

i did this on a 3g eclipse forum one time it worked out well. but the same ppl won each month kinda got boring

They did this on three websites Im on. It worked on two, and failed miserably on the third. The reason it failed was there was really nothing in it for the winner. There was no front page recognition. Just a Ride of the Month thread buried in off topic.

So, if we were to do it, we should have the winner on the landing page, or a picture of their car as the top banner on the forum for the month.

And I think you can only win once for a year. Not a calendar year, but you cant be nominated for 12 months after the first win. I think that should be pretty fair.

Or we can colab this and make a calendar for the forum! I know @WingsofWar was working on this. It'd be pretty cool to have your car featured in a calendar at least. Win/win because the Wings does not have to go around asking for permission to everyone.

Yeah, i put it on hold to give time for some members to fix up their cars. Having the ROTM too early would have resulted in just seeing stock cars, over and over again. Which isn't something im very excited to see.

ROTM is going to happen with a calender feature..but at the right time. Thanks snoop for the mention.

I think a good discussion of the rules needs to be had...

Max picture limit: ?
Max picture size(to not clutter up screen)? High Res links allowed?
Light Color Editing Allowed(White balance, contrast, etc.)?
Can only win once every 3/6/9/12 or so months..?
Own Personal Car ONLY(Cannot post friend's car, shop's car, etc.)
