horrible experence at noth park toyota today, I went to pick up my car after being there for a week to fix the tail light, my five ad kit that was very poorley installed, and my five ad wheels put on. kit didnt get fixed the tail light was just ordered yesterday, and they scratched the crap out of one of the rims, also they put 2.1 miles on my car and my average mpg went down from 33.2 to 32.9 huuuummm I wonder who drove the crap out of my car, I just drove it back home 20 miles and it didnt go down one bit, it usually takes about 50-100 miles of driving on a car with 1500 miles to make that thing budge, so I am under the assumpion that someone went for a joy ride in the car.they told me it was from idoling for a long time my reply was why on earth would my car be idoling for a wheel and tire install? I I told them they were full of shit. I lost my temper with the service manager, and things just got ugly from there. needless to say I hate north park toyota of sa this is my 3rd car from them and I will never reffer them to anyone.

this result could have been from idling the car, needless to say they had it for a week and nothing got fixed so still a fail in my book.

man that sucks! Especially since thats where I bought my frs from. Guess I'll be getting the oil changed at a different location. On a side note, barely got a little over 500miles on the odo after a weekend trip to austin. STILL haven't seen another one of these car's on the road, which makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside!

That's a bummer, man. I went out there Saturday to get a case of Toyota 0W-20 motor oil. First time I'd been there. It really is a nice facility. The Kahlig Auto Group dealers typically go out of their way to insure customer satisfaction. I once had a run in with a "Service Manager" on a warranty issue on a new car at a GM dealer. I didn't lose my temper. I went up the chain of command and spoke to his boss for a satisfactory resolution more to my liking. But, the experience definitely resulted in the decision I'd no longer be doing business with them in the future. Maybe the Scion/Toyota customer service people need to get involved with your issues. You can swallow your pride and apologize for losing your temper (you likely had good reason) ... but, they have no excuse for doing crappy work on your car much less their excuse of saying it was idling for a long time as a reason for the < avg mpg reading. We feel your pain. Hope you get it resolved. Don't let them get away with this. Show character, be a gentleman. Worst case, speak to an attorney. Totally understandable if you have lost complete trust with them though!

spotted a Pearl White FR-S on 281 N heading towards Evans around 5:45/5:50 this afternoon. I noticed it right at the intercetion of 281 & 1604. It also had black chrome in the Tail lights and blacked out head lights.

It's supposed to be cooler Sunday. Anyone up for a cruise? If not I might take a crack at an oil change.
