You know what? It IS a bold statement, and I think he has EARNED the right to be bold. The amount of effort and passion this guy is using on making this car better is legendary.

It just bothers me because there is such a long wait list for ordering these cars and many folks don't even have their pre-ordered cars yet. To deny these patient to-be 86 owners the same great deal on a tune group buy that you offered the relatively small group that already have their cars seems a bit unfair.

I appreciate tuners in other large markets, like APR, who do group buys and sales regularly, almost every season, and remain profitable.
There were a number of non car owners that went in on my group buy...

My group buy was only suppose to be for 15 then I kept extending it when I could have easily have not.

I think I've been more than fair.

Respect for extending your group buy, and there's no denying your hard work. I'm waiting to see what will come of the bogging issues related with the tune + aftermarket intakes and further revisions. It would be cool if the group buy were still active by then.

Let's not side track this thread anymore then we have to - but AIRAID contacted me about the issue and together we are investigating it. At this point it is not a tune + intake issue.

If you disagree I kindly suggest you call Brian @ AIRAID and have a chat with him.

I'm waiting for my tune but in the mean time I have added 3 parts which together really seemed to wake the car up. I don't have dyno numbers but for $400 I got the Perrin crank pulley, Motiv test pipe, and Cosworth drop in air filter. I would highly recommend this combination to anybody looking for good value. I will probably get a catback or axleback exhaust down the road but i'm pretty happy with the gains I got from these three. You could get a Perrin or Apexi filter instead or a Nameless downpipe but if you're on a budget this a good start with quality parts.

So far after a few days visconti's stg1 flash is my best buy hands down. The smoother idle, better performance and better milage make it a no brainer.

Second is my nameless axleback and downpipe/overpipe, sounds simply amazing!

One thing to keep in mind is the gains are not additive. Two parts may end up improving or change the same attribute. The biggest example is the E85 tunes and the fact bolt on parts do not seem to generate any better results than a stock car with a tune. So right now the tune seems to be far and away the best bang for the buck.

Intake, Exhaust, Tune, Pulley, Fuel Thats what you do to get your 40 more horses your looking for... well maybe closer to 30, but 30 HP is substantial for the low cost... IF TRD puts out their supercharger you can keep your warantee...
